Reta update
The last week has been interesting. I planned to eat super healthy while using the Reta/CJC blend on top of my TRT. It started out great, felt great, cut fat quick, but last week I was really drained. I've been working on a massive project, 18hrs a day in front of the computer most days, waking up in the middle of the night with an idea and working a few hours etc. So the mental drain has taken its toll. My buddy sent me a really good youtube video by a Dr talking about men on TRT and Reta, and how important it is to eat carbs. I was trying to stay on a low carb diet, but he explained how the combo of TRT and Reta means that is a bad idea, the body needs glucose more so in that scenario than it would otherwise. I increased my carb intake significantly and the results have been great! Im looking much leaner and my energy is back! I'll do a weigh in and update you guys on progress soon! Carbs aren't always the enemy.

@Joe P I wasnt getting much apetite supression from Terz anyway. It's the combo with cagrilintide that's finally helping. I'm not having any problems bulking on that diet. At my age it only takes a small amount of carb/fat to get me above maintenance calories. I'll just have to shift the time of day that I'm having the carbs and lower the dose of Reta.

@Joe P I respectfully disagree and stand by the data I've collected.
A 20 day cycle of Epithalon
Last fall I'd noticed that my sleep had started to shift. While I was finding it easy to fall asleep I was waking earlier over a period of time; 6am became 5, which eventually became 3-4am each day. My workouts were still great, I'd finished a bulking cycle and did a 6 week minicut just fine and my labs were solid. Each night though when 7pm rolled around I was just beat to hell; I'm 50 with a 10 and 7yo that just won't cut it. I started taking epithalon 2.5mg/day for 20 days and it did reset my sleep but it took time. While taking it I found that getting to sleep was often more difficult and I was waking up every 1-2hrs every night. This got better towards the end of the 20 days but never cleared up. Honestly I felt like even worse hell over that 20 days but wanted to stick it out. Near the end of the 20 days I was sleeping up to 6-7am. It took about a month AFTER I started taking it to stop waking up as often at night. I'm now 2 months post Epi and sleep is really good. I fall asleep well and stay asleep well in comparison to my baseline history. Normally now I'm getting up around 6:30am feeling well and can even sleep in closer to 8 if I have the freedom after a rough week. I'm planning another round late spring to early summer. It's possible that my sleep issues have to do with northern climates and seasonal changes.

@Miriam Pletan I don't track rem or deep sleep cycles. I can't sleep with one of those monitors on.

I've been on test for 3 years now and feel great. Before I got on it I was fit but had felt miserable for years and was on the verge of self deletion. It literally saved my life. That said I wish I'd known about alternatives to exogenous test before I went on it. Enclo/HCG could have managed some problems without the shutdown. I'm working with those now to back off the test before it's too late. I probably won't ever be completely off the test at this stage since I'm 50 but I'd rather not be completely shut down either.
Continuous Low-Dose vs Cycled Peptide Use
Debate time 👇 Some swear by: - Low-dose, long-term use Others prefer: - Structured cycles with time off Sleep, recovery, body comp, tolerance… all fair game.

I have been doing cycles in between visits with the T clinic. I haven't found a Dr who is willing to even consider non-pharma options. Interestingly I HAVE been doing long term low dose Enclo+HCG and slowly backing off on the exogenous Test. My last set of blood work was better than ever.

I've been using low dose Tirzepatide for a few months. I've used it both during bulking and cutting phases. It does take the edge off hunger a bit but doesn't extinguish it even in higher doses. I am never not hungry though so I think my hunger issue is through a different pathway than GLP. I'm 50 now but since my teen years have never, not once had the feeling of not being hungry to some extent. Literally, I can sit at a buffet for 2 hrs and eat while becoming uncomfortable and yet still hungry. That said I've never been significantly beyond a normal bulk weight because I've gotten used to dealing with hunger. At 50 cutting is becoming more difficult though so I'm looking for chemical support for the signaling. I'm going to be switching to ret when this vial of tirz is done for the gluc agonist mostly for general metabolic health and dealing with age related visceral fat. For the next cut phase Im considering adding Cagrilintide to see if that pathway is helpful at all.
