Is PSA still a valid option?
Im currently thinking about getting some cards graded and since PSA is opening an office in Frankfurt I thought about sending them there to grade it as soon as they start. But there have been numerous scandals with PSA, is it still a good idea to get them graded there? I've also read about CGC, what's your opinion on that? My concern is just that my cards don't get the grade they may deserve.

@Jordan Farley heard that a lot too. Only downside with grading on other platforms is that the slab price doesn't explode as much as with PSA right?

@Tomáš Zajac I've seen a statistic recently, which indicated a little shift to other grading companies but I haven't had the time yet to look into that. But if that is true, it could actually set the tone for the future. Apparently CGC grabbed around 1/4 of the market share in 2025 and the PSA 10 premium has compressed to some extent. On the crack and resubmit: fully agree, just seems odd to me that people will just accept the randomness fact with grading since the grading companies only job is to grade accurately...

Hi, I'm Timon from Austria. So to start off, I gotta admit that im kind of new to collecting. For me Pokémon was just a fun thing to watch as a kid, maybe opening a booster here and there. I always wanted to buy an ETB but it was always "too expensive for some cardboard" for my parents. Well, here I am recently having picked up a 151 & Crown Zenith ETB 😬. Just trying to have a nice collection of ETBs in my apartment - not planning on selling any of those!
