3 contributions to Vietnam - Live Better for Less
🌿 New Classroom Released: Finding Calm in Vietnam
I wanted to share something personal and important with you. I’ve just released a new classroom inside Vietnam Live Better For Less called Finding Calm in Vietnam. It’s a gentle, three-part classroom designed for people living with long-term stress, nervous system overload, or PTSD — especially those coming from large, high-intensity cities and wondering whether a quieter environment might make a difference. The classroom isn’t about fixing anything or pushing big life decisions. It explores how environment quietly affects well being, what everyday life in places like Da Nang actually feels like, and how to engage with busier cities like Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi on your own terms — without overwhelm. Everything is paced slowly, with optional reflection and no pressure to share. Because you are foundation members of Vietnam Live Better For Less, you’ll have free access for life to this classroom. Going forward, new members will see it offered as a once-off access option ($29.95), but existing members will always remain grandfathered in. I wanted to make sure this stayed aligned with the spirit of this community — trust first, value first, no rush. As always, explore it only if and when it feels right for you. Feedback is welcome, and quiet participation is completely okay too.

Looking forward to catching up soon IRL, there were a few things that I am definitely interested and curious about.
A Quick Update on the new Classrooms I'm Building for You
Hey everyone 👋 I wanted to give you a quick update and a bit of transparency about what’s happening behind the scenes. I’m currently building several new classrooms inside Vietnam Live Better for Less. You’ll start to see them appear gradually over the next few weeks. Some are already visible, others are still being shaped, refined, and populated with lessons. I’m deliberately building these slowly and thoughtfully, rather than rushing content out. My goal is simple: 👉 to provide real, practical value that genuinely helps you live better, calmer, and more affordably in Vietnam. These classrooms will cover different aspects of life here — lifestyle, money, health, social connection, wellbeing, and adapting to long-term life abroad — not just logistics. I’d also really love your input 🙏 If there are any short courses or specific topics you’d like to see added to this community, please comment below or message me. Nothing is too small or too niche — if it helps even a few people, it’s worth building. This community means a lot to me, and I want to give as much value back as possible. Thanks for being part of it and for your patience while I keep building 🧡

🌿 Welcome to Escape to Vietnam
Thank you for joining this community. You’re genuinely welcome here. This space was created to offer Australians — and soon our wider Southeast Asian neighbours and anyone else in the world — a clear, supportive, real-world pathway to living part-time or full-time in Vietnam without the usual stress, confusion, or costly rookie mistakes. Whether you found your way here through a seminar, are planning your first long stay, or are simply exploring what a different lifestyle might look like — you don’t need to have everything figured out. This space is designed to help you do that slowly, calmly, and with good information. 🌴 What You’ll Find Here Over time, you’ll see content covering: - Practical, real-world guidance on visas, rentals, budgeting, healthcare, banking, safety, and everyday life in Vietnam - Step-by-step explanations to help you settle in with confidence - Ongoing updates around rule changes, cost-of-living insights, travel tips, and local recommendations - A private, respectful community to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from others walking a similar path - Support from me as you shape a lifestyle that works for you — whether that’s three months, nine months, or something longer term This isn’t about rushing or doing things perfectly. It’s about making informed choices and avoiding unnecessary stress. 📌 A Gentle First Step When you’re ready, feel free to introduce yourself below. You might like to share: - Where you’re from - What’s drawing you to Vietnam - Any immediate questions you’re sitting with There’s no pressure to post straight away. Observing quietly is completely fine too. I’m glad you’re here. This community exists to make the idea of living in Vietnam easier, safer, more affordable — and far more enjoyable. Take your time. We’ll build this together — Bradley, Peter, and our resident nomad Daktari Knight 🇦🇺🌏🇻🇳 Dưới đây là bản dịch đầy đủ sang tiếng Việt của toàn bộ nội dung bạn gửi, bao gồm câu mở đầu bạn yêu cầu thêm, giữ nguyên giọng điệu ấm áp, tôn trọng và dễ hiểu:

Thanks for the welcome, I’m travelling to Hanoi on Jan 26th this will be my 9th (?) trip and number 4 this year alone! I keep returning to Vietnam because I have had dental work done and every visit truly amazes me.

@Bradley Deacon I’m amazed at the healthcare system in Vietnam, I too have PTSD and I haven’t been treating it with medication but with trips to Vietnam LOL. On my last visit I needed elective surgery something I have been waiting 18 months for in Australia. I attended Vinmec in Da Nang on a Monday morning and was on the operating table that afternoon, private room for 3 days all for around $2k AUD … in Australia to have the same thing privately would have been around $5k.
