Hey guys...hope everyone is doing well today. So I have watched different videos on how to set up a short position on trading view and it let them do their trade but if I do it...it automatically thinks I am doing a long and then errors me out. Does anyone know why? Please help...lol. Is it because I am doing paper trade and not allowed to practice shorts? I dont understand...again, getting more frustrated than I want to be but hadn't found any information at all that helps me.

Hey guys! I joined this group 2 weeks ago and just passed my first EA account today! I took 6 trades with 2 losses (1 being completely my fault). I followed Kyle's strategy, 2:1 ratio just like he does in the training material. If anyone out there is struggling just remember to follow this strategy and never give up. You will get there I promise you. Some trades made me nervous and want to close out but I stepped away from the keyboard and it worked out in the end lol Thank you Kyle for all that you do in this community. I appreciate it!

Practice on supply and demand, still feel like demand is not quite right, this is a one hour chart...

Followed my trade plan and exited for ~3.7RR (80pts) on the following NQ Short this morning. I was watching for a short entry near the combination of 1hr supply and daily highs. I was watching for entry using a 15s Superman or a 1min imbalance. The entry using a 1min imbalance filled. My SL was maybe a little risky since it didn't cover highs, although the 1min imbalance entry style is something I've back tested for NQ. I was OK with this risk, and I was confident in the entry given the strong reaction of the 10:13am 1min candle. I could have potentially kept a larger PT, but this was a 1 contract position (given my risk management), and I thought there could be a pretty good likelihood of seeing a bounce below the 10:14am 1min bottom tip and lower into used 1hr demand...so I thought it make more sense to lock in profits where I did, and to regroup for the next trade (which won't be today). I'm done for the day but will back test today's price action after market close. While I'm still red on the week (5L, 1W), it's not a horrible week in terms of P/L since I've respected my risk management - this is something I recall from one of Kyle's videos.
