Hi I’m Tim live in South Dakota have a 4 year old Grif Rupert. Mostly pheasant hunting but spend a lot of time in the “grasslands” hunting sharpies and chickens, with waterfowl thrown in the mix. Just looking for some sound diy training for the off season reinforcement. Have only had GSPs my entire life and think they are wonderful hunters and family dogs. Old neighbor had a Grif and he was a great dog to hunt behind. Was dog less for about 3 years and just can’t hunt without my own dog so got Rupert out of Idaho and he has been a wonderful hunting companion, but looking for new approaches to dog training during the off season.
