Is writing Advertorials a good way to get into this biz?
I saw the session with Sam Bradbury-Butler on Sean's Youtube channel and ever since have been thinking about going down the writing advertorial route to becoming a Creative Strategist which I believe means you wouldn't necessarily be doing the managing ads side of the CS role, at least to start with (which I see a s a positive thing). Anyone else already doing this sort of thing?

@Stuart Tarn thanks for that. Good info there. When you mention that most clients will already have their own media buyer, does that apply to when we're doing the 'standard' Creative Strategist role that Sean is talking about as well?

@Stuart Tarn I thought that if you were doing a full on CS role say, then you would be in their ad account, running the ads, controlling the budget etc. etc. But I guess as you say, it depends on the company and how they're set up already, so maybe it would just be providing the angles and creatives for them to run themselves. Just working out in my head how everything hangs together really.
Static Ads
Loved the static ad training and I'm tempted to start offering static ads to beat controls vs the AI-video hook approach... has anyone tried this? Any success?

@Sean Ferres Does it matter we're not managing or even have access to their FB ads account at this point?

Hi everyone, I'm Tim from the South of the UK ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Although I currently work a 9-5 in an unrelated industry, I'm also a web conversion copywriter, helping companies across a broad range of industries with web content that ticks all the boxes for SEO/AEO/GEO and converts readers into customers. Before that, I spent many years in IT Support and Management. I'm not sure where I'm going to settle niche-wise. I feel I should at least look at leveraging my IT career so maybe SaaS, coaching, etc., in that arena, but we shall see. Over the next 12 months, my goal is to build a ยฃ10k+ per month business, with some reliable revshare income so I can retire from the 9-5 and concentrate solely on the Creative Strategist role. I've also been looking at writing Advertorials, as that interests me, so maybe use that as my model. My biggest challenge is setting myself up to approach or attract potential clients, as most of my web copy work came from referrals, so I never had to do much cold pitching! Definitely looking forward to the journey, contributing and helping out where I can. Fun fact - my wife thinks I'm the world's worst procrastinator, so I need to prove her wrong ๐Ÿ˜€
