@Spenser Sakurai Awesome - I’ll take a look. Do you have any donut suggestions to add? Do you use a swing away to make changing lenses faster?

@Spenser Sakurai Thanks mate. I don't want to use it as a clamp on as most of my lenses are vintage and the front element moves. How do you prevent light leaks between the matte box and the front element if you don't use a donut between the lens and the rail mounted matte box?

I can see different challenges arising from the prod company vs solo DP approach. Finding great directors and producers who are business focussed as well as creatively talented isn’t an easy feat. It’s also very easy to be self defeating as a solo operator in a saturated market with many established and talented DP around. I have always just relied on day rate for the most part. There used to be a few jobs I could get a hire rate for my Blackmagic cameras on, but that was few and far between. I’ve since moved to Sony mirrorless, as I’ve been out of the game (of pursuing DP work) for a couple of years and focussing on my wedding brand, but A7s3 don’t exactly scream high production quality or “rentable” haha.
