Introducing Myself
Hello everyone! I am John from the Philippines I'm a blogger, podcast host, human rights activist and a musical theatre fan and also I was born with autism. I'm happy to join this group because I want to get some help, advice and get some questions as I am currently engaging in an inclusive virtual theatre reads where I am performing musicals, my latest performance is Les Miserables where I play as Thernadier last January 4. For me Musical Theatre helps me to relieve my stress and anxiety as I am experiencing mental problems sometimes. How do you take care of yourself post rehearsal/show/class?
Hey team, Just finished up Taylors 10min Rest & Recover flow after a beeeeutiful Epsom salt bath and a magnesium effervescent tablet drink post rehearsals. As I get older it's become so important take care of my body so it can continue to carry me throughy work and my life. I love what Taylor said in the flow, that you can only perform as well as you are rested 💖 Will finish up my rolling out my muscles and can't wait for a wonderful sleep 💤

My absolute non negotiable things are: - Strength training 3 times a week which (in long run) helps my muscles and body recover quicker overtime! - Water ovbs but also electrolytes anytime I’m in class and or gym! My favs are the (G active waters) - Magnesium tablets this is another obvious one - For sleep a massive game changer is mouth taping, this just completely fixed my sleep habits and I wake up so well rested!

There’s a lot of beautiful teachers these days that hold open classes that would help with the training Mik! Most of the classes I go to on the regular are the ones that are so supportive and special! Let me know if you want a specific list of class and I’ll dm you 😊
Weekly wins!
Hey everyone! Happy Friday!. I wanted to share 2 weekly wins I had this week ( I hope everyone has had w in no matter how big or small🫶🏻). Number 1 I went to my first open class of the year which was absolutely amazing. I walked in there with such an open mind and put zero pressure on myself and I walked out of their feeling just so over the moon. And win number 2 is this week I have followed through with an area of improvement t which is working in my singing (which I am rather insecure about) and I can already feel and hear the improvement. For everyone I’m cheering for you with your weekly wins and hope everyone has the best weekend ever🩷. Lots of love - G x
