Allow me to introduce myself . . .
Hey, y’all! 👋 I’m Tiffany . . . a single homeschool mom with a 15-year-old son (who is SUPER please that he’s already taller than me), a black 6-year-old cat named Berlioz (who is the doggiest cat I know), and a 5-month-old kitten named Zenitsu (who is a tiny terrorist and quick as lightning). I live in a small town in Arkansas (aka Walmart country) where as soon as you meet someone, you start seeing them at Walmart all the time. And, if you’re like me, you look like a gremlin 95% of the times you do. 🙃 Although I was only recently(ish) diagnosed with ADHD (in my late 30’s), the signs were there from the beginning. The diagnosis actually made so much about my life finally make sense. Why I can’t stand my house looking the same for too long before I feel the itch to rearrange it. Why I hyperfixate on and cycle through so many hobbies (drawing, painting, acting, cooking, failing at baking, making pretty + weird things, you name it). Why I need everything — even boring stuff like chores — to feel like a game or challenge in order for me to get it done. These days, I’m learning how to work with my brain instead of against it, and it’s been a game-changer. I’m super geeky, wildly random, and proud of it. If it’s sci-fi, fantasy, or Marvel-related, I’m probably obsessed. And, yes, I still watch cartoons, love anime, read manga, and rep Gryffindor til I die. (Even though I also have Hufflepuff tendencies.) Career-wise, I attained three degrees (2 bachelor’s and a master’s) with the intention of becoming a counseling psychologist and/or a professor. However, I ended up working as Mary Poppins (aka a live-in nanny) for a couple of years before having my son and becoming a SAHM. My SAHM life lasted all of 3 months — I started blogging and making money online through direct sales. After my relationship ended later that year, I had several run-ins with traditional jobs, but decided back in 2012 that the entrepreneur life was the life for me. Blogging opened doors for ghostwriting, which paved the way for copywriting.
