Hi, I’m Alessandra an orchestra conductor from Italy, ❤️and I would love to fly to America for the first time (😱) to share with you The Orchestra Project — this is the idea I wanted to write down for you, and my heartfelt contribution to your project. ❤️ My purpose is to make people feel love, connection, joy, and a profound sense of humanity through Classical Music - always related to serious, boring, relaxing or elite- but that’s SO human and ALIVE! As a conductor, I want to invert the traditional perspective. Instead of standing with my back to the audience, I turn around. The audience becomes the orchestra. I divide the room into sections like a real symphony — strings, winds, percussion. Each person embodies an instrument through guided movement and collective rhythm. They don’t just listen to music.They become music. Through movement, they experience harmony, leadership, responsibility, unity, and interdependence. They feel how different voices can create one powerful whole. The orchestra is humanity in action: many individuals, one shared purpose. Classical music becomes alive, accessible, and deeply human. I truly believe that when you learn how to host your dream event (even if only 2 people come) you learn that you're the creator of culture, you are the one you've been waiting for, and you become and create what you wish existed, and you find your people and confidence to step into your power and purpose! The first event I ever hosted was a documentary night watching the movie I AM at my house when i was 23, and only 2 people came, but that night changed my life forever and here we are now!
