The Nerve Running The Show 🌿
A couple of weeks back we talked about the six places calm actually shows up in your body. This week I want to introduce you to the nerve that's actually running a big part of that show. It's called the vagus nerve, and it's honestly wild once you get it, it's the longest nerve in your whole autonomic nervous system, running from the base of your brain, right down through your neck, your chest, your gut. Three of those six places we talked about, your heart slowing down, your breath deepening, your digestion switching back on, that's not three separate things happening, that's one nerve doing its job in all three places at once. And here's the part that matters for you this week, when things get too intense, when you're overwhelmed, when old stuff is weighing on you, the vagus nerve is what steps in and hits the chill-out button. It tells your heart to ease up and your breathing to slow down. You don't have to talk yourself into calm, your body already has a switch for it, you just need to know how to reach it. 📄🌿 I made you something to go with this one, Reach The Switch, it walks you through the exact breathing pattern that reaches that switch, plus a tracker to actually use it this week. 👇🌿 Tell me in the comments, is breathwork something you already do, or is this brand new for you? 📊Where are you with breathing practices?

The Nerve Running The Show 🌿
@Lindi Harmse Yes.. and i have to say .. i have been obsessed with nervous system regulation, physology and biology for a few years now... its been quite a journey learning and self exploring how we tick and how our physiology and biology works in harmony when start listening to it.
@Lindi Harmse 🧡
How Did It Go? 🌿
It's been a couple of days since I gave you Reach The Switch, the breathing pattern for reaching your vagus nerve on purpose. Did you get a chance to try it? Not looking for a perfect streak here, just curious what you noticed, even if it is something small? 👇 Tell me in the comments, did you try the breath yet, and if you did, what happened? 🌬️How's the breathing practice going?

Practice it regularly - especially when one gets overwhelm at work. Works like a charm.🧡

Hello to all the new lovely members. Hope you're going to find this space just as helpful and welcoming as I did when I First Joined. ✨️🫶
If You Can See It, You Have It😍✅
Okay so here's a different kind of week opener, think of a woman you genuinely admire, could be someone you know, could be someone you've only ever watched from a distance, alive or not, doesn't matter. Now name what it is about her that actually gets you, her steadiness, her humor, the way she takes up space without apologizing, whatever comes to mind first. Here's the part I love, you couldn't have spotted it in her if some version of it wasn't already sitting in you. Noticing it is the proof. I made you something for that, the Role Model Confidence Boosting exercise, it walks you through who you admire, what you're really seeing in them, and one small way to practice it yourself this week. 📎📝Attached right here, 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗱𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁 📊What kind of quality is it? ➡️Vote, then tell me in the comments what she actually does that shows it.

Show Me Your Saturday
How's the weekend treating you so far, is it actually feeling like a weekend or is the to do list still chasing you around. Hope you're getting a proper rest mode moment in there somewhere, even five minutes counts. 🖼️Show me with a GIF what your Saturday looks like right now, coffee in the garden, kids' sport chaos, catching up on nothing at all, whatever fits the moment 👇
