Godot Card Game
Hi Everyone! I have tried many different ways to learn programming things over the years; Basic, C+, Python, a bunch but the one that is sticking to me seems to be Godot! It feels really accessible to create almost anything; I've really focused on learning little systems so far I've made an: Inventory system, moving a sprite/attack/interact with other sprites collisions etc. but what I really want to make is like a card game system; how do you do it? Do you use a randomized list?

Ok cool! That is what I had in mind; a list for the hand, a list for the discard and a list for the deck with a manager to sort out who goes where and one for what gets displayed. Thanks! I am trying to glue some tutorial things together and I am trying not to stay just copying tutorials and collecting 10000 asset packs on my desktop.
2 Weeks Progress!
I've been making this mining game roguelike for around 2 weeks now. It's starting to look pretty good and It's time to let my friend playtest it. I'll post some results on the playtest, and if I've learned anything from it. Here's a 25 second clip from the current state, I'm also editing the first dev log for it

awesome! I also like your placeholder effects; sometimes that's really holding me back from doing things but I have recently discovered the easy of libresprite

@Antti Miettinen yes, if you don't 'see' the progress, it's hard to maintain enthusiasm! It's really motivating when your sprite works the way you intended.
