I’m currently applying to part time remote sales jobs just to get sales experience. To improve my sales for swim lessons. Is there any place else to look that are hiring? This is my first time doing this. I’ve applied in Indeed to 4 jobs in the past 24hrs and DM 1 on LinkedIn.i was also thinking advertising products on tick tok shop but idk how that works.

Orah, why should I let you teach my 3 year old to swim over Gold Fish Swim School? Tell me why you are a good.....no why you are a great swim instructor that I would be crazy to no let teach my child? List 25 reasons. I
YouTube channel
I’ve posted tips, techniques and how not to learn to swim series. With demos or me just saying how to do it and demonstrating on dry land. What else should I add or subtract from the channel? https://youtube.com/@swimwithconfidence?si=QF7EnXbuQ8BsV6T1

I watched some of your videos. If I were looking to learn more about swimming I would want quick demonstrations I could practice on my own. Show them how to bracket on the wall to practice their kick, or breathing techniques like turning the head to the side to breathe with the goal of keeping the bottom ear in the water, or different strokes like breasstroke or the always feared butterfly.

Orah, my other comment is who is your target audience? Adult non swimmers, infant swimming, children, or teens? Probably all of them, but I might have a classroom targeted for each category. If I am a parent with a 6 mo old, I would be looking for infant swimming information that might teach me about support techniques. If I was an adult who has fear and never learned to swim, I might be interested in learning how to submerge in the shallow end or learning to glide, etc. Who is your target and what do they want to know that you know how to teach them. Then how many different ways are there to teach this skill too as each participant might not learn with the same tactic.

I wanted your opinion on something. In 2025, I ran an AI agency for about 8–9 months, but eventually realized I needed to switch models. A few reasons: I faced health issues that made long sitting difficult, my outreach was inconsistent, I kept changing my offer and target audience every couple of weeks, and my environment isn’t ideal (I live in a type of household where taking sales calls or shooting content is awkward, and I don’t have a private workspace). That made me question the service-based model itself, since it depends heavily on consistent delivery, outreach, and calls. So I started looking into models where I can build a product once and let customers come to me — basically inbound over outbound. Now in 2026, my plan is to focus on building digital products and selling them on Etsy, aiming to reach $1k–$3k/month profit. The goal is to use that capital to fix my environment (like renting a room), so I can properly focus on what I actually want to do long-term — growth operating, building a personal brand, and eventually scaling to $10k–$100k+. What do you think about this approach based on your experience?

I would definitely recommend staying as consistent as you can so that you are not starting and stopping momentum. Also, do you love what you will be doing or the digital product you will be selling? You understand your surroundings and have a plan which is good. You might not have written all the details, but I didn't get the sense you had a definitive product in mind. So, I would say if you start this plan stick to it like a madman until you get what you want to chang your surroundings.
