Snowflake pitch for Me and The Great Bear
An extremely skillfully analytical bucket shop stock trader and his partner, navigate the year of 1929, the year of the great crash. The partners invent, by chance, technical analysis, short the railroad right before the great earth quake on San Francisco, corner the cotton market, when The President asks them to stop cornering the market, they agree and then also profit tremendously on the subsequent rise of the price of cotton. The partners had also, during The Great panic of 1919, shorted the market , and are asked to stop, by the one and only JP Morgan himself which they oblige his request. I picture it in my head as Wolf Of Wall Street meets The Great Gatsby.

Wow, this sounds like a very compelling and cinematic concept, especially the blend of historical finance with the energy of The Wolf of Wall Street and the atmosphere of The Great Gatsby. I help authors refine concepts like this through story development and editing. I’d love to know what stage the project is currently in. Do you already have a drafted manuscript?
