Asking Better Questions = Closing More Deals
Most salespeople talk too much and ask too little. And when they do ask, it’s surface-level stuff. The right questions do 3 things: ✅ Build trust ✅ Uncover real pain points ✅ Guide the prospect to sell themselves Here’s a simple tip: Before your next call, write down the 3 BEST questions you can ask.. ones that reveal pain or opportunity. Example: 👉 “What’s this problem costing you right now?” 👉 “If you don’t fix this, what happens in 6-12 months?” 👉 “What would the ideal outcome look like?” Good questions close deals. Start Higher. Sell Profit, Not Price.
Want to close bigger deals? Start your sales call HIGHER up the ladder. The higher you sell in an org, the less price matters and the more they care about PROFIT and PRODUCTIVITY. Here’s a simple line you can use when someone hammers you on price: 👉 “Price or profit, Mr. Jones, which do you want? Price lasts for a moment. Profit lasts for a lifetime.” But here’s the thing: If you want to play at that level, your prep has to level up too. You can’t just pitch. You need to bring ideas. Profit ideas. Productivity ideas. Real value. Yes, it’s more work. But it’s also WAY less crowded at the top. Question: Are YOU selling at a level where price isn’t the main conversation? If not, what’s one move you can make this week to get there?

Knowing vs. Doing... Big Difference 💯
You already know what to do… but are you doing it? One thing I’ve noticed after being around a LOT of salespeople: Almost everyone “knows” the right moves… very few consistently DO them. 👉 “I know I should follow up more.” 👉 “I know I should ask better questions.” 👉 “I know I should sharpen my objection handling.” But knowing is NOT doing. The real pros ask themselves: “How good am I at this?”... not “Do I know this?” That question will change your whole game.
