BIG DAY! Just published my first real lesson! 🎉
After weeks of deliberating whether I should even start a Skool community and Skate School, I've finally created my first lesson: How to Push. This is my first one, so would really appreciate your honest feedback on what I should do differently, what you liked, what you didn't like, if I was clear and engaging enough, whether you liked the editing or the floating head format etc. I'm aiming to stay away from being super energetic (like most people online these days) so would love to know if it was OK or if I need to turn on the enthusiasm a touch! Thanks for your support team! 🤘 Watch it below! 👇

@Miguel R that looks so sick man! You’re doing an Indy grab where as the one in the photo is a mute grab! 🤘 I feel like Indy is harder to get the height on as your legs have to be fairly straight where as mute and melon let you bend pretty low down to get more “pop”. But to keep with the Indy, your angle of approach is great! Now try closing off the angle a bit more each time until you can pretty much hit the coping head on and do a full 180. It might take a while but just really slowly each attempt close of the angle just a tiny bit. You don’t want to be going straight into trying to go full head on as the movement is slightly different as you have to use your body to spin rather than the angle. Even using tape or a tiny amount of chalk or usually what I do is just find some sort of spot, crack or mark on the ramp to see where you need to takeoff. Then once you get these start to widen that angle again but just with more speed to get some longer airs!
What trick are you working on right now?
Drop your tricks and a video of you trying it below, and get tips from the community so we can get you landing bolts and riding away clean! 🤘

That's awesome @Eric Riesen! 🤘 You've got the flick man and spotting, just need to sort out the backfoot. Try practicing your backfoot catch by itself like this 👇 As you've already got the flick, once you get the backfoot catch consistently, it's just a matter of getting that front foot back on which you can already do. Also the mat is likely affecting how high you can pop too which will make it a little harder. But even with the mat, if you get that backfoot catch down, you can do it!

Yeah fair enough man! I feel ya! You’re so close man, just keep trying! 🤘 and if you just can’t do it, stop trying to land it and just practice the backfoot catch and front foot catch!
Ever seen a Round-Off Board Transfer before?
All my attempts at the round off board transfer! I was playing with a 360 one too (like a miller flip) but felt too far away. I’m gonna try again next time!
