Zoom recording live
Hi ladies of the May Cohort. Just a quick note to let you know the Zoom recording and all the documents are now available in the classroom. Apologies for the delay, I was trying to upload the actual Zoom file and it was not liking it. I have gone back to the link and the passcode so please let me know if you have any issues. Let us know how you go with your Agents! 🀩

Thanks Tracey.. there was so much there, I am glad to be able to access it. But I haven't had time to even think about it as I'm also working during the week. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend! :)

Hi, I'm from Sidney, B.C. Canada. My family moved from Amsterdam, Holland to Victoria, B.C. in 1957, when I was 8. I am now 77. I attended private schools run by nuns and took a few years to attend University in the music faculty, but left organized education partway through, to backpack Europe, Africa, India, Nepal. Came back to Victoria a few years later, to marry and have two daughters. Divorced and with my new partner, In 1996 I began to market my Victoria Sampler patterns, which funded our lives since then. I taught in-depth workshops online and in person, mostly in the US and Canada. I am now semi-retired, still marketing PDF versions of my patterns and courses online at victoriasampler.com In 2023, I learned about OOP books. Then signed up for KPI at end of last year. As a result I authored three books on infidelity under a pen name, but found they didn't sell as well as I liked. So in 2026 I pivoted, and since then, wrote cozy craft mystery novels on Amazon under my own name. They are the first part of a series, and draw heavily on where I live and my past experiences as a wife, mother, teacher, and needlework designer. They are popular with my stitching followers, and so much more successful. ChatGPT and now Claude help me organize the overarching plot as well as the standalone plot within each novel. I use Canva to create my book covers. I have found that Sonnet gives me better results writing wise, Opus gives me a fairly good outline, and Chat does my editing with me. But it's very laborious. I want to be able to make a living writing fiction books. It is much harder to write fiction than non-fiction, but for me, it's important to earn a living as I age. One AI problem you want to solve: To help me write without stress, and to market my books more effectively. If I have to pick one, right now the most important is the writing. My memory is selective, and parts of the plots and characters are lost to me. At the moment I have Sonnet write, ChatGPT edit and assist in the rewrite and edits. However, I find my proofreaders all report things that I didn't notice as I rewrite. I just lose track of key parts of the details, characters, etc. I did find a good writing program, Atticus, but it doesn't keep track of anything. I have learned about Novel Crafter recently. But that's another subscription I have to pay for.

@Tracey Longfield Thank you so much Tracey! I really love to hear that I'll be able to build a Cluade Project with you all.
It pays to read previous posts.
I really got a lot out of my first session this May 2026, and I'm enjoying the SKOOL platform a lot. It's been educational to read a few posts from previous students, and Tracey's replies, from the March 2026 sessions. It's good to know that I'll learn more stuff to fill personal knowledge holes in weeks to come.

You're right, Wendy. By the Way, can you find the videos for our session in the 'classroom'? I can't seem to even open the classroom itself.

@Wendy Peters Thanks. I wrote Tracey but she hasn't been able to help yet.
May 2026 - Session 1
Hi everyone! πŸ™Œ I hope you all enjoyed our first session as much as we did - it was wonderful to see you all again and get things underway! Everything from today is now live in the Classroom: - Zoom recording - Session transcript - Student handout - Custom GPT links Head in there when you get a chance and have a look through everything. We would love to hear what you get up to this week - if you are experimenting with Custom GPTs or coming up with ideas for how to use them, please share them here! It is always so much fun to see what everyone creates. πŸ˜„ See you next week! Tracey

I found the session very informative, and everyone pleasant. Thanks for the Custom GPT information, although I still feel out of my depth creating my own prompts. Your first section on 'building' my own prompts was interesting, but I'm not sure how to apply the information to my work. My prompts are more like requests, not systemized. Writing prompts carefully is important, and I'd sure like to know more about how to approach them. :)

I can't get into the tab called Classroom. I assume I'm to click on the classroom icon on the right? Here's what I see, and I cannot access anything else.
