On Nov. 1st 2022 I started implementing a new organic content marketing strategy that Involved me posting daily. I always knew that I should be posting daily but I didn't really know how I would make that much content consistently. Turns out I was just overthinking it. For the first two week I posted simple content everyday like me singing one of my songs acappella, singing a cover song for 30 seconds, showing some of my hobbies like skateboarding and sailing, clips of me in the studio, dancing/ vibing to one of my songs, an inspirational quote that I liked over some footage of me at the beach or just me talking about something I recently read. Very simple, very organic content with no crazy edits or extravagant premises. After that I realised that I could increase my volume so I moved to 2 per day and 3 per day shortly afterwards. Since then I've been consistently posting 3 timer per day on IG, TT and YT Shorts. I quickly noticed that different posts would do well depending on the platform and that some posts would do well ALL around. I also noticed that more people were following and subscribing on a regular basis. On IG I grew by about 32 follows, TT I grew by 63 followers and on Youtube I gained 72 new subscribers! My observation about these three platforms, which you can also see by the amount of growth I received on each, is that YouTube offers the fastest growth! It's evident even in the amount of views I received. Some of my YT shorts gained between 1k and 1.8k views within the first 48 hours. TikTok is still my smallest audience but they seem to be engaging more than instagram in terms of likes and the number of views per post tents to me the most consistent. Moving forward I will continue with my daily posting strategy and I aim to move from 3 times a day to 5 times a day. If you think posting this much is daunting, chances are you just need to take some time to draft out a plan and do a lot of batch content creation so that you can front load the work and then just schedule it on each platform.
