🐎 Week 17 - 2026
It’s Saturday - let’s share our weekly wins ✨ Your wins this week, big, small, or just something that felt a little better than before. Because those are the ones that matter. 🌍 For me…it’s my last few days here in Africa and today is the big clinic day - that in itself already feels like a win. But honestly…the days spent with @Jenny Randall and her four horses have been even more special. The time, the conversations, the progress, the moments you can’t really plan, those are the ones that stay with you. So now it’s your turn… What’s been your win this week? And what’s one thing you’re starting to get good at? I’m very curious 👇🐴✨🫶

Today was super interesting. It was the day of letting the horses onto the fields. It’s a huge spectacle im sure you know Zoë 😅 I stayed with Huyen at her stable throughout it and we meditated. Eventually she got sleepy and put one foot on rest while her neighbor was rearing in her stal next to her. Despite everything going on she stayed in her own bubble and found peace in the chaos. Im so so proud since I know this usually very hard for her.

Weekly Wins, a day late from Africa 😅🌍🐴 I forgot yesterday 🙈 But in my defence, here in Africa time feels a little different. So let’s do it now 👇 What’s been your win or wins this week? What’s one thing you’re starting to get good and what’s one thing you’re going to begin next? Let’s hear it - wins and next steps. I’ll be reading from Namibia with a big smile on my face! 😃🐴✨🫶

During our session the big truck that came to clear out the muck pile came and it got us both on edge. I think we were both a bit overstimulated from the noise. So I brought her in and we focused on breathing and grounding ourselves. Whenever she went into “giraffe mode” neck up and such I brought her back to her body with touch and movement. She let out some big yawns and lick and chews. Once the truck was gone she was very happy with herself. It was a good exercise to stay in our own bubble and de-escalatie tension when it showed up.
Lovely session
I had such a nice groundwork session with Huyen 💗 She was quite tense and reactive when I got her out of the paddock so I thought she would go a little grazy. But instead she listened amazingly well, relaxed and was very connected. Her face and body really softened. Afterward I gave her a little treat and she did the cutest soft whinny. Im also proud of myself. I was doubting my skills a bit but everytime I do train lately I realize I’m doing pretty well! Not perfect but definitely improving.
Lovely session

Im also heavily rewarding her when she’s exhibiting behavior I want to see. Like with blanketing she pins her ears a lot less now that I’ve rewarded her when she’s not. Making it a more positive experience.

@Hyuck June Kang totally! I also used to be a bit taken aback by the reactivity and ear pinning. But now that I’m staying present through it I think it helps them feel heard. Their feelings are valid but we won’t punish, reject or walk away from it. I also do a bit of bodywork with Huyen and when I massage or focus on a spot she’s really reactive too she actually relaxes and yawns after a while.
🇳🇦 We Made It…
…was quite emotional to set foot on the tarmac here (long time dream) and well the best part was seeing @Jenny Randall and Sakkie waiting for us 🥰 We just had a rest and are heading out for dinner soon. Will get back in here later for a catchup. Tomorrow we hit the road and head into this beautiful land for the road trip 🌎 Hope you are all fine, sending virtual hugs and vibes from Africa 🫶✨❤️🐴

🐎 Week 14 - 2026
✨A little Easter check-in… I’m very curious 👇 What do you feel like you’re starting to get good at right now? And… What’s one thing you know you’re ready to begin next? Something you’ve maybe been putting off, overthinking, or waiting for the right moment with. Let’s share it - wins and next steps. 🐣🐴✨🫶

Went to the dunes with Huyen in hand. She was a little grazy when she saw some deer but calmed down. Funny part was that whenever one of us visualized, thought of or said that she might buck she did. So we focused on positive thinking and visualizing relaxation which made a noticeable difference!
