Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33 is often used to tell people to put God first, but the primary focus of the passage is trust versus worry. Jesus was speaking to people who were anxious about what they would eat, drink, wear, and what their future would look like. This passage is not about church attendance. It is about trusting God rather than worrying about your needs. People often make judgments based on what they see, but they cannot see the full scope of a person's journey. They do not know where you've been, what you've overcome, or where God is taking you. We learn from our past, grow through our experiences, and carry those lessons into our future. Before judging someone else's path, remember that you may not know the full story. Please do not misuse or abuse the Word of God by taking Scripture out of context. Have a victorious week. #SpiritSoulBody #SeekFirstTheKingdom #KingdomLiving
