Day 1 – You’re Not Imagining It
If you’ve found yourself thinking: “Why am I so exhausted all the time?” “Why does everything suddenly hurt?” “Why do I feel anxious for no reason?” “Why don’t I feel like myself anymore?” This is your reminder: you are not weak, dramatic, lazy, or broken. Perimenopause can begin years before periods stop. Hormone fluctuations don’t just affect cycles, they affect the brain, joints, sleep, mood, nervous system and pain sensitivity. Fatigue. Muscle aches. Joint stiffness. Anxiety spikes. Brain fog. Low mood. Touch sensitivity. Overwhelm. These are common. They are real. And they are often dismissed. Today is about validation. You are not imagining this. You are not alone. Your body is changing and it deserves understanding, not criticism. Reflection for today: What has changed in your body or mood that made you realise something wasn’t right?

Welcome to Perimenopause & Pain
This space is for women navigating perimenopause and the fatigue, pain and mental shifts that often follow. Not medical advice. Not toxic positivity. Not symptom comparison. This is about structure, clarity and sustainable energy. Over the next 30 days we’ll focus on: • Understanding your baseline • Reducing crash cycles • Building a flare plan • Managing energy without guilt • Redefining strength in midlife Before we begin: What feels most unpredictable right now? Is it fatigue, pain spikes, sleep, mood, or mental load? Comment one word. We’ll start there.
