Accurately emphasized. I was sharing a piece on discerning. When humanity refuses to hear the voice of God, He turns and speaks in ways that cannot be ignored. Hebrews 12:26–27 declares that once again God will shake not only the heavens but also the earth; removing what can be shaken so that only what is eternal may remain. This is a sobering warning beloved. Now, when hearts grow dull and believers neglect the Word (studying, reading, praying), God allows a shaking to awaken us from spiritual complacency. The shaking is not punishment at all; it is divine mercy in action. It is God calling His people back to alignment, back to reverence, back to intentional hearing. When you treat Scripture casually, you drift into danger; when you refuse to listen, you risk losing the clarity, conviction, and direction the Word was meant to provide. Yet, even in the shaking, there is profound encouragement. The same passage reminds us that we belong to a kingdom that cannot be moved. The moment you turn your ear toward God; His Word restores what neglect attempted to steal. He is not demanding emotionalism but sobriety. Beloved, He is seeking intention. When you choose to read and pray the Word intentionally and dedicate your life completely, Scripture becomes your anchor in the shaking, your stability when everything else moves, and your compass when the world grows dark. Today, choose to hear Him. Choose to return to the Word with fresh reverence. The God who shakes heaven and earth is still speaking and the believer who listens will stand unshaken, unafraid, and fully attuned in His purpose and divine order. BE ENCOURAGED!!
