🌤️ Sabbath: God’s Gift of Rest
“Then He said to them, ‘The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.’” – Mark 2:27 In a world that glorifies busyness, God invites us to pause. The Sabbath isn’t just a rule — it’s a gift. A time to rest, refresh, and realign our hearts with Him. Rest is not laziness — it’s obedience. It’s trusting that God is in control even when we stop working. True rest restores our body, renews our spirit, and reminds us of who holds our tomorrows. 💬 Reflection: How do you intentionally rest and reconnect with God? What does Sabbath rest look like in your life? Take a breath today — God delights when His children find rest in Him. ✨

@Linda Fenwick Absolutely my reason! I don't think God would be mad for healing on a Saturday and/or Sunday, Jesus did it. Multiple times as a matter of fact and he did it proudly.

@Carole TenHaaf That is the best way to take part in the Sabbath I think ❤️ I love it! My granny would have a Sunday dinner ready for us when we got out of church! Pot roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a plain ol yellow Bundt cake ❤️ I sure do miss those days 🥰
📖 Psalm Study: Psalm 91 🕊️
Psalm 91 is a powerful reminder of God’s protection, presence, and faithfulness. It speaks to those who trust in Him — assuring us that no matter what dangers or fears surround us, we are safe under His wings. 🙏 This psalm teaches us that true security is not found in circumstances but in dwelling in God’s presence. When we make Him our refuge and fortress, we find peace even in the middle of life’s storms. 🌿 Whether you are facing uncertainty, sickness, or fear, let this Psalm remind you: God is your defender, your shelter, and your strength. Rest in His promises and let His peace guard your heart. 💛 🕊️ “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1

@Helen Munger and also so much wisdom if one knows how and where to look ❤️ I bought a journal Bible that has just the Psalms and Proverbs and I highlight each section and write out what I think it means or what it's said to me or remembering what was going on when the psalmist wrote the Psalm ❤️
🌸 Gratitude Wall Day: Community Thanks 🙏
Today, we celebrate Gratitude Wall Day — a beautiful reminder to pause and give thanks for the blessings around us. 💛 Gratitude is more than just saying “thank you.” It’s a posture of the heart — an act of faith that recognizes God’s goodness in every season. When we take time to express our gratitude, we not only honor God but also inspire others to see His hand at work in their lives. 🌿 Let’s fill our Gratitude Wall with words of thanks — for answered prayers, for challenges that strengthened us, for people who encouraged us, and for God’s constant love that never fails. Every note of gratitude builds up our community and reminds us that we are richly blessed. 🙌 🕊️ “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1

I'm forever grateful for my family, I can't express that enough! All of my unanswered prayers growing up has led me to this life I now have and I am so thankful 🙏🏻 I'm thankful for my church members who helped set up the church for my wedding, for helping us get married, all the support they have given us through the years, all the gifts and love they have given. I'm thankful for our friends who have supported us and helped us along the way and for our families that have been a constant rock for us to lean on when things got weary and seemed hopeless. Thankful for God's protection, love, and forgiveness and all the answered prayers healing those in my life. Thankful for this community and the opportunity to grow in faith and love together with each of you ❤️ God bless you all 🙏🏻
🔥 Bold Faith Like Elijah 🙏
Elijah’s story reminds us that true faith is not timid — it’s bold, courageous, and unwavering even when the odds seem impossible. When Elijah stood alone against hundreds of false prophets, he trusted fully in God’s power and promises. And because of that faith, fire fell from heaven. ⚡ Elijah didn’t rely on what he could see; he relied on the God who never fails. His life teaches us that bold faith means stepping out in obedience, speaking truth even when it’s unpopular, and believing that God will make a way — even when we can’t see one. 🌤️ Today, God is calling us to that same kind of faith — a faith that prays with confidence, stands firm in trials, and expects miracles. Let’s choose to believe boldly, just as Elijah did. 🙌 🕊️ “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16

We say this every week in church, we Christians have let to much slide over the years. It's time we took a stand and start speaking up. We have let other beliefs push out our God to "keep the peace" which has allowed society the power to dictate what's "right and normal" which doesn't correlate with what's "just and righteous". Schools have banned prayer, children are "believing" they are animals as a gender, adultery and shaming have become a normal occurrence and it's all a bloody shame to see the world burning the way it is. We also say every Sunday, somethings coming and it's coming sooner and sooner every day 🙏🏻
🙏 Hearing God in Silence
In a world filled with noise, constant notifications, and endless distractions, silence can feel uncomfortable — even strange. But sometimes, it’s in the quiet moments that we hear God most clearly. ✨ Silence gives space for our hearts to breathe. It’s not an absence of sound, but a presence of peace — a place where God’s whisper becomes louder than the world’s noise. 🌤️ When we pause long enough to listen, we begin to notice that God speaks through: 💭 The gentle nudge in our spirit 📖 A verse that suddenly comes alive 💬 A thought that brings comfort or direction 💬 The stillness that settles when we simply sit with Him Take a few minutes today to sit quietly — no phone, no music, just stillness. Ask, “Lord, what would You like to say to me today? ”You might be surprised by what you hear in the silence. 💬 Share below: How do you make space in your day to hear God’s voice? Or has there been a time when He spoke to you in stillness?

I make sure to wake up every morning and take time to do my devotionals and journals. I try to make sure I wake up with enough time before the day starts, I have to clock into work or my daughter wakes up. Jesus himself would go into the wilderness or off somewhere by himself to pray alone and in the stillness. If Jesus made it a point to pray in quiet, then it's important for us to as well. Pray like Jesus, not just once a day but as many times a day you can and as often as you can in stillness. 🙏🏻 Let Go & Let God ❤️
