📖 Proverbs 3:7 — “Do not be wise in your own eyes.” Let me say it plain. Some of the biggest messes I walked into started with, “I think I got this.” Trusting your own understanding sounds cute… until it costs you peace. Until you ignore red flags. Until you talk yourself into stuff God already warned you about. Wisdom ain’t knowing everything… it’s knowing when to stop relying on yourself. Sometimes God is quiet because He already spoke and you trying to outthink Him. So today, I’m choosing humility over ego. Prayer over pressure. Discernment over impulse. Because every time I trusted God over myself, I ended up protected. If this hit, drop a 🙏🏽 and remind yourself: You don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’m tired of smiling through confusion. Tired of second-guessing what I already felt in my spirit. Tired of calling anxiety “being strong.” Help me see clearly… not just what looks good, but what’s actually God. Sharpen my discernment with people, decisions, and opportunities. Help me notice what feels off before it turns into regret. Give me peace when I need to walk away and courage when I need to stay. I don’t want to move off impulse today. I don’t want to move off pressure. I want to move off You. So God, help me. Because pretending is exhausting and trusting You is lighter. Amen. 🙏🏽🤍

📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 — “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Let’s clear something up real quick… God did not say: “Get stronger and then I’ll help you.” “Fix yourself and then I’ll show up.” “Hold it together so I can use you.” Nope. He said GRACE is sufficient. That word sufficient means enough. Not barely enough. Not just enough to survive. Enough to carry you, cover you, and keep you standing when you feel like you’re folding. You don’t need to be stronger. You don’t need to fake being okay. You don’t need to prove you got this. Weakness is not a disqualifier… it’s an invitation. Paul begged God to remove his struggle. God said, “I’m not taking it… but I am sustaining you through it.” And that’s the part people don’t like. Because we want removal. But God specializes in reinforcement. Grace steps in when: • your patience runs out • your faith feels shaky • your energy is gone • your smile is forced Grace carries what strength can’t. Grace holds what pride won’t admit. Grace shows up when all you can say is, “God… I’m tired.” And hear me clearly, sis: If grace is sufficient, then you don’t have to beat yourself up for being human. God’s power shows up right where you feel the weakest. Not after you clean it up. Not after you get it right. But right there. So today? Rest in grace. Lean into mercy.
