If you already have businesses set up in the US, are you at an advantage over non-citizens if you renounce? You already have a SSN with history, etc. so I assume its easier to qualify for things ... or maybe get everything done in advance of the renouncement.

Hi Growth Club, I'm in a bit of a unique situation where I am a U.S. Citizen that is looking to begin the process of establishing an international business as well as a Legal Trust that is offshore from the United States. The NUMEROUS attorneys that I have spoken with in my state of origin have been incredibly unhelpful in pointing me in the right direction. Does anyone in here have experience with this stuff /is anyone able to point me in the right direction. I think I know which countr(ies) I would like to begin this process in - but I would prefer not to post it in the post right now - at this point I am simply needing to get pointed in the right and helpful direction so that I can begin establishing international businesses as well as a potentially offshore trust (not on cooks island or one of the islands - somewhere else).
