Would it have been wise to take a trade?
Doing more practice trading. Price touched in plan area (around 11:30 AM) so dropped into 5 min as you can see from screen shot. However, price never dropped fully into the plan zone. Although you can see price close above a fractal high (outside the plan zone at approx 12:00 PM.) Would you take the trade? I didn't count it, but wanted to see what would happen if I did place the trade. The trade would have been filled at 2 PM, and I would have hit profit target at around 3 PM, and also would have hit 2.5 profit. Just wanting to get better at reading and when to enter a trade or not. Thank you.

In short, it sounds like you stuck to you strategy, avoided emotional impulse, and kept to your business mindset. That is a winning day even if it didnt payout. I assume you're using Superman strategy, correct? If so, are you drawing your zones or are you using a consolidation indicator? Zone drawing takes practice and days like the one you had to learn from, but looking at the 5m chart you have, there seems to be indications there was going to be a pullback to the long wick that entered the zone. It looks like there was a series of fair value gaps, where if your risk profile allows it, you could've set your Entry/SL/PT at the 1st FVG. Oviously, nothings ever guaranteed, and it could've kept dropping. I'm learning too :)

@Tony Fonte all good. The fair value gap (FVG) is something I picked up in a video in this program. Happy trading!

Copy Trading: Prop Firm & Cash Accounts
I've done a little research online wondering how I can add a "cash" account to my prop firm trades, and while I think I understand it, I wanted to see if anyone else here has done this and whether they have some pointers. The cash account I'm considering linking is NinjaTrader and so far, I've only been using Apex Copier with Tradovate accounts via Apex, MFF, and GFT.

Taking Profit Early vs Staying Patient?
Curious to see peoples behaviors versus discipline to their own strategy. Scenario: If your goal/strategy is at least 2R but it comes right after an area of liquidity (and itâs just toying right at that mark). Are you taken whatâs given 1.7/1.8/1.9R or are you staying discipline and waiting out the +2R? I know this is a vague scenario at best but I imagine we can all relate.
