Exploring Ancestral Roots
Since joining, i did the ancestor course ans lately I’ve been feeling pulled to explore my ancestral roots more intentionally. Especially my Irish and Scottish heritage to really try to understand the wisdom, patterns, and healing that I feel key to my practice right now. I have a small bio family and my adopted family is quite large (polish). So I picked up a secondhand copy of Anam Cara by John O’Donohue (cleansed) and when I opened it, someone had written “Soul Companion” inside the front cover in ink. Something about that felt like a nudge , like I was supposed to find it. I’ve only just started, but I can already feel an energy that's unfolding in a way that was almost hidden before. I’d love to open up a little discussion here. So If you’ve worked with your ancestors or ancestral paths (especially Celtic/Irish/Scottish), how did you begin? Did you feel resistance at first or a sense of familiarity? How did you navigate the parts of your lineage that are lost, complicated, or unknown? I’m excited to learn more and dive deeper, and also just really grateful this little community exists🖤
