Shout out to my Sisters!
✨ Sisters, this is our reminder: we are fighting for our lives and we need to fight together. ✨ 📊 Quick stats about Black women - We number about 21.1 million strong in the U.S., and we’re one of the fastest-growing groups of entrepreneurs. - Our educational achievements are rising, with over 30% holding at least a bachelor’s degree. - We’ve doubled our representation in Congress in the last decade, and we continue to lead in our communities despite the challenges we face. - 🤝 Why community matters When we come together, we lift each other up. Community is our strength and our sanctuary. By supporting one another, we’re not just surviving—we’re thriving. 💬 Final word To every Black woman reading this: we are in this together. Let’s keep building, healing, and rising as one. Please Like Share and Comment on this post.

About to read Karine Jean-Pierre‘a book, “Independent.” I appreciate what i’m gaining from the excerpts thus far… her gentleness and temperance during those white house press conferences was boss And how she authentically did it while showing up as a black queer immigrant woman (her description of herself ) unapologetically helps my courage. Nothing to prove…
Unveiling the Gifts of Grief: From Hidden Pain to Fearless Truth
The first profound loss I faced was the death of my best friend and cousin. We were 20 and 21, two inseparable young women who lived under the shadow of being the “good girls” in a family full of quiet secrets. When she chose to have an abortion alone, that secret turned into a tragedy. The procedure went wrong, and I lost her to sepsis. In that moment, I realized that her death was a brutal teacher. It forced me to stop hiding behind family facades and embrace my boldness in the open. Her loss was a gift that taught me to stand in my truth, embrace my flaws, and find strength in vulnerability. Now, I challenge you: What hidden gifts has grief brought into your life? Let’s be fearless together. Share your story and let’s turn our losses into a call to live more authentically and boldly. #GriefJourney #HealingThroughLoss #TheGiftOfGrief #TransformingPain #GriefAndGrowth #EmotionalHealing

Poll Question - Who still wants marriage?
Do you still desire marriage after 40 and being single for a while? Options: 1️⃣ Yes — I still believe in love and partnership. 2️⃣ Maybe — if it feels peaceful, not pressured. 3️⃣ No — I’m happy and whole as I am. 4️⃣ Unsure — healing and figuring out what I truly want.

A loud and resounding yes. And marriage will happen for me again on this side of glory.
Leaping into the Unknown
When God says go, you don’t get to negotiate the details — you just leap. Next month, I’m moving to Hawaii to start a federal position. Everyone who knows me is excited… and truthfully, I am too. But beneath the excitement is anxiety. I’m moving to an island alone. I don’t yet know where I’ll live. My adult children will remain on the mainland. And if that weren’t enough, the government is mid-shutdown. But still… I’m going. Because faith doesn’t wait for all the lights to turn green. Faith walks into the unknown, trusting that the same God who called you there has already gone before you. Sometimes obedience feels like freefall. Sometimes purpose looks like a one-way ticket. And sometimes peace doesn’t show up until after you’ve said yes. I’m learning that courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s the decision to keep moving with it. So if you’re standing at your own edge today… take the leap. Your wings will meet you in the air. 🕊️ Reflection Prompt: Where is God (or life) asking you to leap before you feel ready? Community Share: Drop a 🌺 if you’ve ever said yes to an assignment that scared you—but grew you. --- #LeapOfFaith #PurposeInMotion #FaithOverFear #DivineAssignment #WhenGodSaysGo #TransitionSeason #CourageToGrow #HealingWoman #NewBeginnings #BlackWomanTherapist #SpiritLed #TrustTheProcess #ObedienceOverComfort #SteppingOutOnFaith #IslandCalling #WalkByFaith #BeStillAndGo #SoftLifeWithGod #MovingMountains #RiseWithGrace

That part right there! “Your wings will meet you in the air!”
When Life is knocking you down...
What helps you when life is doing the most? When life is kicking my behind I enjoy watching action flims. Some of my favorites are John Wick, The Equalizer and Hunger Games. Currently I'm binge watching The Handmaids Tale. I'm drawn to movies where the characters are forced to overcome incredible odds simply to live a life of peace.

I love being outdoors. Fall has grown on me over the years. This time of year is such an amazing time of renewal and crispness. I like the colors especially. And the beginning of the holiday season…I’m looking forward to the new meaning of Fall and the holidays, as tough as it will be. Still looking forward to it.
