$60B acquisition, most powerful Agentic Coding agent, Github competitor, new iOS app and so much more coming from Cursor!
Yooooo Michael T. just spilled the beans on Cursor's newest Composer model and its going to be amazing. Here are the 3 things he says about their newest model: 1. Massive Scale and Compute Size The next model scales up engineering resources immensely to compete directly with the world's largest flagship models. - 1.5T+ Parameters: As shown on the presentation slide, the model features well over 1.5 trillion parameters, putting it on par with OpenAI's massive scale. - 10x to 20x Compute Power: They are leveraging significantly more compute than ever before. Past architectures (like Composer 1 and 2.5) were severely bottle-necked by running on minimal GPU clusters for shorter periods. This massive computing upgrade aims to hit and surpass the current AI frontier. 2. Trained Entirely from Scratch The model abandons third-party open-source baselines to build a custom foundation from the ground up. - 100k+ GPUs: The model is being pre-trained on a massive network of over 100,000 GPUs. - Granular Behavioral Control: While expressing appreciation for open source, the speaker emphasizes that building from scratch grants them complete control over model behaviors. This allows them to cleanly optimize the ecosystem specifically for developer workloads. 3. General Intelligence Beyond Coding The model is evolving past basic code generation to function as an autonomous, full-fledged software engineer colleague. - Expanding the Toolbox: The model handles tasks past standard syntax writing, including long-term planning and interacting directly with developer tools. - Actionable Execution & Testing: The AI will actively test software, click interface buttons to debug, and utilize an advanced user experience (UX) to explicitly show users everything changed by the agent. Guys, this is going to be big! This along with their new Github competitor: Origin ANNNND their new iOS app, I'm so stoked to see all those Claude Code users all of a sudden shift over to Cursor... not like i've been saying this for a year now.

Something I didn't know before starting my solo AI Agency
Being able to build is actually the least important part and here's why 1. If you dont have sales, you wont build anything 2. If you don't know how to market yourself then no one will know you can build anything 3. If you dont know how to manage a project, you wont do a good job a building anything 4. If you don't communicate well with your clients, they won't think you are building anything 5. If you don't organize your documents and cover yourself with proper policies then building anything will be a liability These are things people dont think of when they are just getting started out Especially in the age of AI, building is the least of your worries. Worry about these 5 things first and then get good at building, or find someone like Ghostcoded to white label and then you'll see some serious growth. What'd I miss?

Something I didn't know before starting my solo AI Agency
Time to get serious! I’m doubling down on here but I need you’re input
What’s up everyone! I’ve been asking members of this community what I can do to help this place be more engaging and a place you’ll want to contribute to and engage with. What I’ve heard back has been to do open build hours. Now this could be actual automations, ai and/or software or it could be your business you are building too, either one. Here’s what I’m thinking, twice a week well do these build sessions. One of them will be open mic where we see what everyone’s building, we share them ask questions and give tips. I’ll usually start by sharing a tip or two from what I’m building etc. Then the other will be a live “coaching” session where I’ll help build one of your projects that you’re having issues with or help talk about running your agency etc. This later one will come from the posts you contribute to the feed! As you are posting questions, updates, or contributions, I’ll select one of you to be the “coachee” and the rest will be able to spectate while we work on your business and build. I’m still working through how this’ll all work but that’ll be the fun part of figuring this out! Oh and I almost forgot, everyone needs a brain break sometimes. What’s a better way to do that then to play some online games together? And I actually just got my old Ghostcoded Clonewars game to be multiplayer with the option of free for all or co-op. So my idea is on Wednesday and fridays I’ll host an hour long brain break session where you can come join to play some clonewars and just talk about life/business/anything. Then the build sessions will be on Tuesday and Thursday. Excited for this guys! Let me know yalls thoughts. Any questions? Also which works best for you (CST is the time zone)

Can other one comes to the ultimate realization that Cursor just wins
@Nate Schweitzer sent me this gem today! Same task. 3 different engines. Only one winner And that winner is cursor. Seriously guys if you are building your agency, your automations, your whatever Cursor does it better faster and cheaper Their composer 2.5 is AMAZING. The entire Ghostsuite has been built purely with composer and I’d never go back. So far I’ve converted the likes of @Jackson Oaks , @Nate Schweitzer and @Doug Grosch to the holy land I’m bot alone anymore People are waking up from the matrix You next?
