Hey everyone. I have type 2b hair and I have been growing them since 7 months now. I was suffering from dry dehydrated lengths and upon some research and from the community I learned lightweight leave-in conditioners might work well. Tbh I don't see much of a difference. I don't know if I am using it in a wrong way or something. Please drop in your suggestions. Secondly, I don't know how to use styling Serum gels. Like how to apply and in what hair conditions(like damp or wet or dry). When I tried myself for the first time, I faced difficulty in giving my hairs a shape after applying it. I will be grateful to suggestions for the above mentioned problems and some phrases to say to the barber for maintenance cut(I want to grow them more)
@James OHara First of all, thanks a lot for attending my query. I'll use oil as well to improve the moisture hold. Just to be sure, can I apply oil after the leave-in?
For many of us guys it takes time to develop and nurture our fashion sense. My question is, how did you get to find yours and/or are you there yet or still experimenting and working on it?
I would love if someone could recommend budget friendly hair product for setting hair and locking moisture "available in India". I notice my hair type is between thin and fine and 2b(wavy). Although I use sulphate free shampoo and light weight moisturizer every 4 days and light oil(like almond oil). My hairs become super dry maximum after 5 hours.
We’re quickly approaching Summer - is there anything you guys want to know or are struggling with right now? Let’s get all your hair on point this Summer ☀️🔥
My biggest problem is that my hairs become too dry after 2 hours of shower. It's been 2 months since I have stopped harsh drying of my hairs. For around an hour or so most of it stays hydrated but then all of it is frizzy and dry. I am searching for products to try so keep the moisture with the volume. Because trying leave in conditioner make my hairs heavy and flat while I want them to be lifted and have volume. My hair type is fine 2b.

@Luca Mantra yep, they force us, or else they disturb our parents by calling them or note down(kind of blaclist) our name. Long or properly set haire are like a tag to them denoting a bad character about the student.
