VETERANS — DID YOU KNOW YOU MAY HAVE AN ADVANTAGE WHEN APPLYING FOR FEDERAL JOBS?
Veterans Preference is real, but there are a lot of misconceptions about how it actually works. It is not automatic, it does not guarantee a job, and simply checking a box does not mean you automatically move to the top. Here’s what every Veteran looking at federal employment should know: 🔹 5-point preference — Available to qualifying Veterans with qualifying service. 🔹 10-point preference — Eligible disabled Veterans can receive 10 points regardless of their disability percentage. 🔹 Category Rating matters — In many federal hiring processes, preference isn't simply added as points. Eligible Veterans may instead receive a higher position within the appropriate quality category. You still have to be qualified for the position based on your own merits. 📋 Have your documents ready: • Member Copy 4 of your DD-214 • SF-15, when applicable • Current VA disability rating letter • Supporting documentation for derived preference, when applicable 💡 Don't stop at Veterans Preference. Depending on your eligibility, you may also want to look into VRA, the 30% or More Disabled Veteran authority, and VEOA when applying for federal positions. 👉 Save this post and share it with a Veteran who is looking for a federal job. Your service may open doors—but knowing how to use the benefits correctly matters. #VeteransPreference #FederalJobs #VeteransBenefits #VeteranEmployment #FederalEmployment #DisabledVeterans #VeteranResources #VEOA #VRA

VETERANS — DID YOU KNOW YOU MAY HAVE AN ADVANTAGE WHEN APPLYING FOR FEDERAL JOBS?
Hey everyone, Jem here 👋
I work with founders and business owners around the people and operations side of building a business, so I joined to learn from others focused on growth, wealth creation, and building something that lasts. I’m particularly interested in how entrepreneurs turn a growing business into a sustainable asset through the right people, systems, and processes. Rather than having everything depend on the owner. Looking forward to connecting with everyone, learning from the community, and contributing where I can. 🙂

ARIZONA VETERANS — YOUR VA RATING COULD MEAN MORE THAN YOU THINK!
Your VA disability rating may qualify you for more than monthly compensation. There are state and local benefits worth checking based on your rating—from property-tax relief and vehicle benefits to education, recreation, employment, and dependent programs. 🔎 WHAT TO CHECK BY RATING: 📌 30%: Dependent additions, state hiring preference, license/credential fee relief, recreation discounts, and veterans-service assistance. 📌 50%: All 30% benefits, plus additional disabled-veteran vehicle, hunting/fishing, parks, and tax programs. 📌 70%: All prior benefits, plus property-tax tiers, caregiver or home-support programs, TDIU screening, and disability-related education programs. 📌 90%: Review combined-rating math, TDIU, and state tax thresholds. 📌 100%: Maximum-rating programs, property-tax relief, vehicle, dental, and recreation benefits. 📌 100% P&T: Enhanced dependent education, spouse/child programs, full or enhanced property-tax relief, CHAMPVA/Chapter 35, and survivor protections. 💡 Don't assume you're automatically receiving everything you're eligible for. Use this guide as a starting point and verify your eligibility with the appropriate Arizona agency, Veterans Service Officer, or VA resource. 📋 Save this guide for later. 🤝 Share it with an Arizona Veteran who may be missing out on benefits they’ve earned. 💬 What Arizona veteran benefit did you wish you knew about sooner? #ArizonaVeterans #VeteransBenefits #VADisability #VAClaims #VeteranResources #MilitaryBenefits #100PercentPT #VeteransHelpingVeterans

VETERANS — ARE YOU CLAIMING YOUR VA TRAVEL PAY? 🚗💰
If you travel to VA or VA-approved community care appointments, you may qualify for travel reimbursement. One of the biggest things to remember: ⏰ File within 30 days of each appointment. Each appointment requires its own claim. This guide breaks down: ✅ Who may qualify ✅ Mileage and other reimbursable expenses ✅ The travel-pay deductible ✅ Community care appointments ✅ How to file online, by phone/check-in, or by paper ✅ Common reasons claims are denied ✅ What to do before your next appointment 💡 Don't assume you don't qualify. Take a few minutes to review your recent VA appointments and see whether you may have unclaimed travel reimbursement. 📌 Save this post. Share it with a fellow Veteran. You may help someone recover money they didn't know they could claim. Educational reference only. VA rules, rates, and eligibility can change. Confirm your specific situation with VA.gov or your VA facility's Beneficiary Travel office. #Veterans #VATravelPay #VeteranBenefits #VABenefits #VAClaims #VeteranResources #MilitaryBenefits #VeteranCommunity
