When you hear the same words over and over… “You’re too much.” “You’ll never do it.” “You’re not good enough.” “Why can’t you just be like everyone else?” At first, you fight it. Then slowly… you start questioning yourself. And if you hear it for long enough, someone else’s opinion can become the voice inside your own head. That’s the dangerous part. Because eventually, you stop seeing yourself for who you really are… and start seeing yourself through the eyes of the people who kept breaking you down. And remember this too: Not everything that seems good, is good. Not every person who smiles at you is for you. Not every opportunity that looks exciting is right for you. Not every environment that feels comfortable is helping you grow. Sometimes the things that look good on the outside are the very things quietly draining you on the inside. Choose your circle carefully. ❤️ Be around people who remind you of your worth. Who speak life into you. Who helps you grow with love. Who see your potential even when you’re struggling to see it yourself. Sometimes changing your life starts with changing the voices you allow closest to you. Protect your mind. Protect your heart. Choose your people wisely. ❤️
