Start With the Why
Ignore the noise about crypto, gold, or the ā€œhotā€ stock. Until you know why you’re investing, none of the recommendations matter. For example, saving for a home is very different than investing for long-term growth. Build the foundation first. Create the map before walking through the forest. What goal are you investing toward right now? šŸ‘‡

I used to have a home :( What are your thoughts on renting? Do you think my goal should be to own a home again instead? (I am 55 btw.)
A little guidance please...
When you are considering investing or looking to invest, what are some questions you have that you would like answers to?

None at the moment!
Are todays news headlines making you nervous?
It’s a fair question—because honestly, sometimes they probably should. The world can feel unpredictable, and the headlines are designed to grab your attention (and often your emotions too). But here’s something worth thinking about… If you’ve built your investments with intention—based on your long-term goals, your personal risk comfort, and a clear plan—then what you’re seeing in the news is often just short-term noise. Yes, markets can react quickly. They move hourly, daily… sometimes even for extended periods. But those movements don’t have to dictate your decisions. The real question is: Are you investing based on headlines… or based on a plan you trust? Because when you stay focused on the bigger picture, those headlines lose their power—and your strategy stays intact. What are your thoughts on this?

I try to avoid the news lol. But honestly, I am not an emotional investor.
If This Step Is Broken… Nothing Else Matters
Have you truly taken care of Step 1 of the "Your Wealth Root" Financial Pyramid? Before investing… before planning… before dreaming bigger… Have you actually looked at your foundation? Step 1 is simple—but not always easy: šŸ‘‰ Income vs. everyday expenses: Food, Shelter. , Healthcare, Daily life, Transportation So ask yourself honestly:Are you balanced, ahead, or falling behind? Because if this step isn’t solid, everything built on top becomes unstable. This isn’t about judgment—it’s about awareness, and awareness is where real financial progress begins. Strong roots start here—take a few minutes and know your number. If you’d like help working through it, just message me—I’m happy to help.

I used to avoid looking at my bank account - I am much better now!
About Me
I thought that you might want to know a bit about me, so here goes... I spent nearly 30 years in finance and investing and many of those were spent training financial advisors. Over the years, what I’ve seen is this: - Most people are taught to start their investment journey in the wrong place. They’re told to focus on investing first—before building a solid foundation. That’s why people feel stuck, behind, or overwhelmed. Thats also why they jump on the next fad like crypto, tech, AI etc. I created the "Your Wealth Root" community and program to simplify things. šŸ‘‰ Start with stabilityšŸ‘‰ Take control of your cashšŸ‘‰ Learn the rules before you invest Simple. Clear. No hype. One Final Thought; To be successful at investing and become financially strong you don’t need to know everything, you just need to start in the right place and follow the right process. ASK; one ask I have of you is that you participate. Share how you are doing. Are you running into challenges?, which ones?, are you moving forward? Lets learn together!
