Location scouting
today's live I worked on some photos that will be in the premium level weekly challenges. Question though! Let me know your thoughts on location scouting and what do you do when you find a great photo location?

@Matt Westerlaken Yes! locking in Google Maps is helpful! I have even "walked" around on google maps before arriving in a city to get a feel of locations I might want to photograph.
🕒 Project #2 – Same Place, Different Light (Premium Submissions)
Photo Share & Questions This is your space to share your images for this project and ask questions along the way. As you work, pay attention to how light shifts a space — not just visually, but emotionally. When you post, you might include: - What changed - What surprised you - What felt different the second (or third) time - Any challenges you ran into If something didn’t turn out the way you expected, or you’re unsure what to adjust next, drop your questions here. This project isn’t about finding the “best” version of a place — it’s about noticing how light reshapes it. Looking forward to seeing what you discover.

@Darien Noe Ah! Pretty subject! This is a great example of how light can impact even the "feel" of something. You're right. In the Softer, natural light photo, they look softer and in the overhead light photo, they look more plastic. That's because of how the light impacts the ridges and brings out the shine in the flowers. Nicely done! Looking forward to more photos!

Shutter Speed Class Submission and Questions
This is your space to post your shutter speed experiments and ask questions. Try exploring: - Freezing motion - Intentional motion blur - Slow shutter in low light - Capturing movement vs stillness When you post, consider including: - Your shutter speed - The situation you were shooting in - What you were trying to achieve - What felt confusing or challenging You can also drop questions here, whether something didn’t turn out how you expected, or you’re unsure what to adjust next. There’s no “perfect” result here. This is about learning how shutter speed changes the feeling of an image. Let’s see what you create. 🎞
