Moving to another country and stepping outside my comfort zone.A few years ago, I would never have imagined doing this. Thanks for these questions, by the way. They’re helping me a lot.🙏
Honesty and authenticity. I know I could probably grow faster with different types of content. For example, quizzes or reaction videos seem to perform better in the football community. But I don’t want to pretend to be someone I’m not. I genuinely enjoy creating coaching, educational, and thought-provoking football content more. I’d rather grow slower by being myself than grow faster by playing a role.
That’s a really good question. Honestly, my life has probably revolved around football a little too much, and that’s something I still need to improve. As a kid, I used to draw a lot, and that was how I expressed my creative side. Maybe it’s time to reconnect with that again just to switch off and be creative. Fun fact: I design football kits and badges now, so apparently I still can’t escape football. 😅
My most successful Reels on Instagram were my matchday vlog videos. Lately, the ones performing well are short 5-second clips where I explain the details in the caption.
It’s easier to go “viral” on TikTok and also lot of young footballers prefer it over Instagram. But Instagram feels much more personal to me. That’s why I’m focusing on it long term. How do you move your TikTok followers to Instagram?
