See you next time!
What's up everyone! It's been a while since you've heard from me here, the last few years have been a rollercoaster and this community was something that fell off my radar along the way. Anyway! I'm making some BIG changes heading into 2026 and as part of that I've decided to wrap up this particular community so I can put as much focus on what comes next as possible and not have to think about this little pocket of the internet that's just languishing. I wanna thank each one of you that took the time to hangout here over the years for doing so. As for what I'm doing next? All I can say is I'm super excited about what I'm doing right now and if you want to be the first to know what I'm up to, just sign up below. https://product-facilitation.kit.com/next See you next time!

Helpful Resource for Team Alignment:
The C.H.A.R.T. Framework is something I created and use to help when a team is not aligned, aka- โ†’ Missed deadlines. โ†’ Confusion over roles. โ†’ Frequent conflicts. C - Clear Goals: Set clear goals to align everyone's efforts. H - Hold Check-Ins: Schedule regular check-ins to keep communication open. A - Assign Roles: Define roles so each team member knows their part. R - Reinforce Collaboration: Encourage collaboration to build a cohesive unit. T - Timely Feedback: Provide feedback to guide and improve performance. Address these issues promptly- alignment is key to your team's success!

@Aryana Apanaska Glad you are enjoying- yes, I would strongly suggest 1:1 if you are a manager/team. lead. Ideally, I would love to see 45 min 1:1 for every team member 1x a week. I know it sounds crazy, but its super powerful and I have seen unreal results from leaders who do it.. In terms of team check-ins- I love to run an end-of-week workshop to do a quick checkin on wins, challenges, and room for improvement for the next week- obvisouly each team has their own dynamics and it can't always work. I remember at one company i worked out, they gave us summer hours so we would be off for 1/2 of Friday and didnt have time to do the workshhop so it depends- but these shouldn't be longer than 30 min max.
๐Ÿค” Fun question to ask you all:
Q: If you had to name your BIGGEST challenge at work in 2024 IN ONE WORD, what would it be?? (There's no right or wrong answer)

@Monica Joy Krol oh yes. TOTALLY get that- the plural form resonates with me very much!

I'm running a free training! (on Value Proposition Design)
What's up everyone, on the 19th of December (at 1130CET) I'll be running through how I help my clients create killer value propositions. I'll run through the exact workshop I use with my own clients in detail. You can sign up here if you're interested: https://lu.ma/i0hf840s

This month's Product Bookclub is Strategize
What's up everyone! Feels like it's been a while since I wrote one of these. Hope you all had a great summer and are raring to go for the last push for the year. It was great to re-read Good Strategy / Bad Strategy, it's a great book - but it was definitely a harder read than I remembered, but maybe that's just because I'd read it before? Would love to hear how you all found it below! This time round we'll be sticking to the Strategy theme, with Strategize - by Roman Pichler. I picked this up a few months back on the recommendation of a friend and have been keen to get to it, it's one of the few well rated books that actually calls itself a product strategy book, so I've been really curious! _________________________ Whatโ€™s Product Bookclub? _________________________ It's an online bookclub for the members of Product Synthesis - each round Iโ€™ll announce a new Product book that Iโ€™ll be reading, and anyone in the community is welcome to read (or listen) along with me! If youโ€™re like me, and love reading, but donโ€™t have enough people to discuss what youโ€™re learning, then thisโ€™ll be perfect for you! We'll run this round until the end of the month, and we'll do a check-in on the 12th & 26th of September, you'll find all the calls in the calendar. _________________________ Are you gonna take part? If so, let me know in the comments!
