Ladies, I had planned for us to have this conversation together live, but sometimes things don't go exactly as expected. Even though we weren't able to have the interactive discussion portion today, I still wanted to share what was on my heart from my time in Scripture. Today, we looked at: 📖 Genesis 12:1-9 — Abram's call to leave what was familiar and follow God into the unknown. 📖 Hebrews 11:1-10 — How faith caused Abraham to obey even when he didn't know where he was going. Some of the questions we explored: ✨ If God told Abram to go to the land He would show him, and that land was Canaan, why didn't Abram simply stop there? Why did he continue traveling and later return? ✨ What does Hebrews 11:2 mean when it says the elders "obtained a good report" or were "commended"? ✨ How do Genesis 12 and Hebrews 11 show us the difference between what people see and what God sees? ✨ If your faith story was included in a "Hall of Faith," what moment would God highlight? One thing that stood out to me is this: Genesis shows us Abraham's journey. Hebrews shows us how God viewed that journey. Genesis shows us the mistakes, the uncertainty, and the detours. Hebrews reminds us that God remembered Abraham for his faith. As you watch, I encourage you to reflect: 💛 What "familiar place" might God be asking you to leave? 💛 Where is He asking you to trust Him without a full map? 💛 What chapter of faith is God writing in your story right now?
