Stop Waiting For "Perfect"
Most people think success stories start perfect. They don't... Nike: Started selling shoes from a car trunk. Instagram: Launched as a check-in app for whiskey lovers. Twitter: Began as a podcast platform. Every "perfect" business you see today started messy, ugly, and incomplete. Yet entrepreneurs still kill their dreams trying to be perfect. Let me show you how to beat perfection: 1. Launch Fast, Fix Later - Put out a basic service today - Get real customer feedback - Improve what people actually want You can't polish a business no one buys. 2. Test Then Invest - Sell it before you build it - Get paid to create it - Let customers guide you Perfect plans don't make money. Sales do. 3. Set Impossible Deadlines - Cut your timeline in half - Remove all backup plans - Force yourself to execute now Work expands to fill the time you give it. 4. Start Small, Scale Fast - Launch with one service - Master one market - Dominate one niche You can't be everything to everyone. 5. Kill Your Ego - Accept ugly progress - Learn from real feedback - Adjust based on results Pride keeps you poor. 6. Build In Public - Share your journey - Document your progress - Learn as you grow Hidden businesses stay broke. 7. Move With Speed - Make decisions quickly - Execute immediately - Fix problems later Speed beats perfection every time. Most people reading this will still wait for perfect. They'll keep planning. Keep preparing. Keep struggling. But you know better now. Perfect is the enemy of progress. -- Ready to start? Well said! Really puts things in perspective
Bumps and Bruises with DAT 🧨
Folks, I’m currently a fleet owner with 10 trucks and give or take 15 drivers. Our business learned a VALUABLE lesson a few weeks ago trying to establish an account with DAT. My dispatching team got my company in COMPLIANCE HELL. DAT has a policy of not sharing logins and is very security conscience with location of IP Addresses. We suspect that one of our dispatchers logged in with the same credentials from 2 locations. As of today, their Compliance Dept has turned our service off. Please don’t fall into this trap, as it is PAINFUL.

New here
Hello everyone, my name is Sydnie! I came across this platform as I was searching videos on YouTube about dispatching. A family member of mines will be starting their trucking business and wants me to learn everything I can to be the dispatcher. Being that I am a stay at home mom, working from home and making good money while doing so has become my main focus. I look forward to learning new things and interacting with others along the way!

Within my first 5 weeks!
The busyness of the holiday season is behind us for the most part. Now the busy time has fully transitioned over to my dispatching business. When I initially visited the Dispatch University, I had no idea what the full concept of dispatching was. I would see many of job postings around this title. Seeing this.I decided to deep dive a bit further and see what it was all about. For about a good solid week i was online reading up on watching videos etc. During this research, I came across a video that displayed @Gurpreet Gill picture on it and the titel of "How to become a Dispatcher" clicked on it, and from there binge watched many more of his postings. Which is how I ended up at Gill Dispatch Skool. A few days after that, I joined Dispatch University. Over the last 5 weeks, I LEARNED so much within the videos, Everything thoroughly explained, hours of note taking (literally wrote a novel of notes) and just lightbulbs inmy head going off daily. I definitely can say that I learned much more on the DNS, website building side of things, with a lot of trial and error. (more error) for me lol! But got through most of it. When I reached week 4, I took a break and let the holidays take over with some time away from many of things. But have since picked back up after the New Year. (Happy New year to all!) As I got my business officially in place, i utilized setting up my cold & warn leads concepts through social media, Made flyers and business cards that I inserted into goodie bags that I made for Owner Operators for the holiday season, took those and personally handed them out on Christmas Eve. From there, I decided that I would initiate another step, AND do a different type of lead generating. What did I decide on you say? Well, I turned my LinkedIn Account into a Employer seeking Employee page from a personal account. I figured this could be a unique way of getting inquiries as well. ANNDDDD, with that being said, in day one, I received 7 applicants, each day from there at least 1 more applicant and in that week a total of 14 applicants. As I get applicants, I read through each resume, qualifications and responses to the additional questions that I ask. Not all applicants are a good fit (as that may arise) but I interview the applicants of choice, just as if they are applying for any other position.
