The reminder that perfection shouldn't be the goal is so helpful! I know that even if I have a couple of off days that it isn't the end of the world, but it sometimes feels that way.

If there’s one thing I learned while planning my wedding, it’s more than just a wedding. It’s a journey of growth that will test your patience more than your workouts ever will. It’s not the workouts that throw you off—it’s the opinions, the expectations, and the constant decision-making that can become draining. If you’re feeling drained, it’s not because you’re “falling off.” It’s because you’re carrying a lot at once. Part of your bridal prep is learning how to protect your energy just as much as your routine. That might mean saying no, stepping back, handing duties off to your bridal party or not engaging in conversations that don’t serve you. Your results will always reflect the environment you allow yourself to stay in during this time. Have the courage to stand up for your own emotional health during this time! At this time, I'm learning that EVERYONE has an opinion. It's hard to put my foot down and make the decision when there are so many people telling me different things, or discouraging me from doing something I want, or encouraging me to do something because they did it or know someone else that did. It's such a struggle!

Hi, I am finally through the thick of the beginning wedding planning and am ready to dive in! 👋 Hi, I’m Sydney! I live in Toronto and I got engaged on March 14, 2026. My wedding is set for October 2, 2027! I want to get these 3 things from the community: 1.  Support during the tough times 2.  Motivation 3.
