Do Google Ads hurt your channel in the long run?
In September, I ran Google Ads and posted more Shorts — my channel hit its best performance in 12 months. But in October, I stopped the ads, took a short break, and only posted my regular weekly yoga videos. Now my views and impressions have completely dropped (sometimes not even 500 impressions). It’s been 7 weeks. Could this be because of the Google Ads? Any ideas on how to recover? The same thing happened to me last year, and I’m really starting to suspect it’s because YouTube wants us to keep spending money 😅

I got sick of creating images / carousels one by one. So I learned how to create them in bulk with pro and ChatGPT I’ll make a video about it and share it with you later today

That’s great! Looking forward to seeing what you came up with :) I created a template in Canva to keep my style and authenticity, and these days I simply voice-record whatever I need to publish, send it to ChatGPT to edit my text or message, ask it to separate the content into different slides, and then copy and paste it into my Canva template 😀 Done ✅

@Leland Redfield I tried Opus Clip and Veed IO. I’m currently exploring Descript, I love it for my educational content (talking head type), yet to test on Yoga Classes.

@Leland Redfield sure! 👍🏻 The thing with shorts - you have to film smth related to your content and convert those subscribers into your returning audience for long form videos. So, it’s either tutorials, clips from long form videos (looks really great if filmed on multiple cameras) or film quick tips that add value to your audience. Non-related content hasn’t performed well for me so far, though I’m still testing different formats.
