My hair looks alright, but idk if it's just me or the hair looks weird with the absence of length in sides. My top hair is kinda falling onto the sides.

I recently had an haircut which was supposed to be tapered side side part but because it became too short, I thought to keep my hair in front. I have a hair wax and sea salt spray(homemade cause I don't have a market one available near me) and Want to know the best way to style my hair.

As we know, straight hair isn't good for holding hair, and when drying, a hair dryer is recommended, but are there some ways that can make air drying give good results, as good as hair dryers, based on your experiences?

So the title made it obvious, I got straight hair. In India, people having wavy or straight hair are in almost equal percentage with wavy hair having 2-3% more. The thing which is annoying me so much is that I already am in puberty, summer is there. Like My hair is always flat then. With straight hair, no matter how many products you use, just a few seconds outside and now, your entire head is oily. I am having exams with preparatory holidays, I decided to not use hair products then. This made me realise, On its own, STRAIGHT HAIR ARE THE WORST. I try to do anything to force my hair to have some volume and with the heat, I always end up looking like a boiled egg with my flat straight ahh hair along with Oily skin type. And the worst thing, PEOPLE IN MY CLOSE FAMILY HAS WAVY HAIRS, Like My father, almost my entire father side has wavy hairs and even my maternal grandmother had wavy hairs but still, you're cursed with straight hairs. Wavy hair lit looks good without any products that you can't help but get jealous cuz your close relatives has wavy hairs but not you. Ik You may say looks and hairs aren't evrything but what's wrong with Trying to look good. Yk, Just a funny thing, In India, I noticed a thing that females were having more probability of wavy hair. I once saw a family with a mother and brother - sister. Mother and the daughter had Atleast 2C hair whereas the boy had 1A hair. I lwk wonder what the boy feel cuz you could lit have the problem of straight flat hair whereas your siblings has better hair just cause she had wavy hair in her genes. Share your problems too,it' feels good to have people with whom you can relate to.

So in the first pic, this is how my hair used to be. The second pic is how my hair is now. Between those 2 haircuts, I had one in between and it caused my hair to be so bad,like My hair would always fall flat but I have redid a haircut from the same barber and had a doubt, it's been 2 week since and my hair is now just standing, it isn't like it used to be. I use the same products and still, What do you think, do I need to wait for more time?
