Straight Hair
I got straight hair, which I should be proud of. Nowadays, when I got a bad haircut, I lwk started noticing one thing. Straight hair are always greasy and would stay flat. What's the point of having versatility if the hair can't support itself. With straight hair, products are a must and products cnat guarentee anything, it depends upon brands and it aren't always available. In india, wavy hair are the most common, and if I look in my surroundings, majority of people have wavy hair and it kinda disappoints me that a place where majority are wavy, you got straight. Like those people hair can still look good without trying. So I would ask you guys if you also happened to think like that and how did you overcome it?
How is my STRAIGHT HAIR "flowing"
I have straight hair but my hair automatically kinda "flows". Like when I had short hair, it would still flow like this and my sides don't even have that much length cuz I had a taper. What do you guys think how my hair kinda "flows" automatically even though I got straight hair. I always thought these things happens to wavy hair.

Why do some places show straight hair as Only Type 1 and some as 1A/B/C
I was watching some videos and noticed this. I have trouble identifying my hair type cause of this only. One extra question, I have a doubt. My frontal hairline is wavy whereas my hair on my crown is straight. This also further makes me confused.

Help me identify my hair type
Can anyone help me identify my hair type? It sometimes looks wavy but after some time, it dries and get straight. I use this Hybrid of Hair wax and clay of which I have given the ingredients. It may make my hair but I want some opinions of other. Thanks for reading, I hope you can help.

Best hairstyle with not-so-short sides
My mother is forcing me to have fade, but I don't want it. I'm looking for some length at my sides as I have noticed my hair "flows" on its own(I can give the image later, what happens is my side hair kind of gives support to my top hair). My hair on top is about 9cm(it reaches the centre of my eyes), and and my sides are about 3cm. My face shape is oval and my hair has medium-thick with slight waves(C shaped), it's just not able to retain moisture for it is of low porosity. My hair gets waves when it is wet but gets straight when dried(maybe because of Clay Hair Wax). So can you please recommend me some hairstyles which will be the best for me, my current hairstyle is 60/40 with volume.
