I’m back .. had a wobble!
I’ve decided to come back to safe space after a bit of a wobbly start to feb! Managed alcohol free all January then hit a little bit of a wobble due to a mini heartbreak! … exactly why I told myself no dating this year!! πŸ™ˆπŸ€£ … just thinking the universe doesn’t want it for me!! …. I’ve kept at the gym though 3 x each week which is good as a full time working single mum so I’m proud of that … just want to refocus and bring myself back round all you lovely positive lot so I don’t fully derail … back on focus mode πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ’― what’s meant for me will not pass me by and all that! Time to bring focus back to myself πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ«ΆπŸΌ come to far to mess it up …. Gym, reading, healthy eating, meditation, affirmations and no alcohol …. I got this πŸ’« Happy Sunday xx
Had a bit of a set back
I’ve been doing really well, been at the gym 3-4 times a week since new year and not touched a drop of alcohol but I’ve picked up the vape again. Really disappointed in myself as I know it makes me literally feel like crap. Maybe I just need some positive vibes 🫢🏼 so came back to my little support group to read all your motivational posts πŸ™ŒπŸΌ it’s gone in the bin this morning … wish me luck πŸ€
Investing in me.
9 years ago I left a 21year abusive marriage. Today was my first counselling session. Took a long time as I kept thinking it’s too much money and I’ll be ok. I decided, as I’m not ok, I am worth spending money on. And it was so worth it. Hard but worth it!

Gratitude Practice ✨
This morning I’ve started the 27 day Gratitude practice from The Magic. It’s a great substitute with my morning coffee rather than a scroll through insta! This is Januarys read, I will try for one new book a month this year rather than one every 3 years πŸ˜‚ Does anyone else use gratitude on a daily basis? I can see how beneficial this will be to my thoughts and feelings on a daily basis πŸ’«
