When Was Your Last Audit?
Doing the screen time challenge with Matthew’s community made me realize how much time I was spending without noticing. That awareness carried over into other areas of life. Then I watched a Hormozi video where he explained how outsourcing simple things like meals, laundry, and house cleaning can give you back entire weeks each year. I already have someone who comes to clean the house, has also been helping organize & downsize for mental clarity (I feel like your environment is a big deal) and I’ve been working with someone on a meal prep system for us. It got me thinking… what else could use an audit? I started with subscriptions. In one quick pass I canceled 6 of them that seemed "little" but they added up and were costing me $85.67 a month. Stuff I wasn't using or they weren't working like they should. That’s over $1,000 a year saved. Part of that savings is because I also went to cancel Audible, and of course they suckered me into staying with 50% off credits for three months. They always get me with that one. (Go see if they offer you a discount, if you want to keep them and get it for less.) Next, I’ve been looking at my wardrobe. The idea is to make it no-thinking, grab-and-go.. similar to Hormozi’s approach, but with enough variety so my kid doesn’t see me as “Mom always wears the same thing, boring.” These small audits add up. And the same applies to our communities... We can step back and ask: What are people really using? What do they find helpful? What feels like clutter? What do they want more of and what less of? It’s amazing what you uncover when you pause to run an audit. 👇 When was the last time you did one in your life or your community? What did you cut, adjust, or keep?

Wise Words From Sam Ovens
I saw a comment from Sam this morning and I thought I'd share it all with you. For me, I believe this is something a lot of people face, especially when building their business/community.

If this year has taught me anything, it's to live in the now and just get on with it 😍
Matthew’s Skool Growth Strategy: 7 Day Free Trials and Affiliates
Just posted the replay and this might be the most practical Skool growth system you will see… that anyone can do. Yes, even brand new beginners. @Matthew Thompson shared how he built a very engaged community using a 7 day free trial, a simple affiliate model, and no social media or content creation. He is currently ranked number two in the Skool Games for his category and earned the Star badge as one of the top one percent of creators on the platform. This strategy is perfect if you • Do not have a big audience • Do not want to be online all day • Want something simple that still scales You will see how Matthew • Created a 7 day challenge that actually converts • Turned new members into referrers without asking • Designed an onboarding flow that keeps people active and engaged • Built a trust loop that grows the community on its own If you are curious what it actually feels like to be inside this kind of Skool experience, now is the perfect time to jump in and see it from the inside. If you know the Alex Hormozi pitch, it’s the same energy here. You can make an educated decision from the inside. No pressure, just results. Plus, you get to be a part of the mission Matthew talked about in the video and also see if this is a money model you want to give a shot. Just by doing the 7 day free trial. 👉 Click here to join the free 7-day challenge 👈 🎁 Matthew has also agreed to host a private call for us on the topic of eliminating distraction while working. This is only for people who join using this link in the next 24 hours. He usually only shares this inside his $10k/year mastermind. 🎁🎁 For anyone that joins with this link in the next 24 hours and does all 7 day check in posts inside the community, I will be doing my own Matthew Thompson style spin the wheel giveaway for $100! Plus, everyone that does the full 7 days will also get a code for the Alex Hormozi $100M Money Model book (shipping excluded), because I believe Matthew’s money model is something everyone here could implement. (Whether or not you stay in the community.)

It's such a powerful way to build community and I love the inclusive, non-shaming way Matthew welcomes, encourages and waves off people who don't end up staying after the 7-day trial.
How Many Communities Are You In?
Being considered a Skool "Power User", I'm in a lot of communities.. But I don't see that as a bad thing. One of the signs that someone is going to stick around on the platform is when they get plugged in and are a part of several communities! There are a mix of people in here.. some OGs, some who have been around a bit, & some brand new. I want to know how many communities you're in and what makes you join and stay in a community? Be as specific as you want to be :) This will be helpful for those who are wanting and working on creating a community worth joining and investing time to really become a member. 🫶

12 plus my own. I can't keep track of that many never mind getting into more 🫠 I'm probably an owner's nightmare, cos I do join, review and leave on a regular basis! I'm currently only in one I'm paying for (Matthew's) cos of where I'm at right now. I'm not necessarily active in all the ones I'm in either. I admit to staying in a couple to watch what's going on 😝
The Return of a Major Skool Legend 🚀
This is the moment a lot of people have been waiting for.. & you don't want to miss it! @Matthew Thompson, the man behind the Skool Stories Podcast that spotlighted the best lessons from top Skool builders, is back on Skool!! If you do not know him yet, here is why this matters.. He is launching a community that can change lives while also giving you a front row seat to how a successful Skool launch is built using the 7 Day Free Trial! His new community, The Screen Time Challenge, is designed to help you reclaim one month a year from screens in just 15 minutes a day. The first 7 days are free and if you finish, you are automatically entered into a $1,000 giveaway! 🎁 After that you can keep building momentum inside the community. 🧙‍♂️ The real magic is how he has set it up. This is a textbook example of how to structure a sticky challenge and grow it fully through Affiliates! This is another thing you should be paying attention to as you're either building your own community or supporting one. Now, I wouldn't be sharing this with you, unless I believed in the community and in the 7 day challenge itself. I have gone through 6 days already and seen a huge change for myself and for others going through it. The way Matthew has set up each day with his structure.. it's majorly impressive and very doable for many on the subjects they want to share with a community and succeed with! It made me realize not only does this help you get out of the constant "learning without applying" mode and start implementing, but you gain time to create something successful that you get to hands on experience. I fully believe this is the way more people should be using Skool and it needs to be studied. 🔍 I had this thought that I've paid $297 for a course before to learn how to do xyz for my business, and that's what this is like. But if I'm honest.. some of those $297 courses, I never opened or did at all. 🫣

It's an incredible community with a mind-blowing mission! Matthew's an absolute superstar and I knew I wanted to be part of whatever he had going on 🔥 It hasn't disappointed and I've turned back the tide on the slippery slope of my screen habits!
