My goal for this year is to paint more scenes and less of one object or thing at a time. I need to paint the individual items to get better at them, but I want to do more scenes...like a bouquet on a tanle in front of a window, or a scene from a neighborhood on a vacation, or outdoor scenery of a part of my town. I've joined a local urban skething group but they only meetup every couple of months. I hope the landscape painting skills I'm learning here will help me work toward these goals.

Tonight's paint along Wed 6th May
A beautiful sunset boat scene this evening in watercolour. All you need is a basic set of colours and a white gouache. I hope to see you there and fingers crossed, no tech gremlins. Youtube at 7.30

Gouache Paint Along More Bluebells
The live next week will be gouache and another version of bluebells. Well, it is the season!! Gouache is a watercolour medium but it's opaque so it can be used more like acrylic and oil. If you don't have any gouache, Meeden do a great starter set so you can see if you like it. This is a link to my amazon associate page if you want to check it out. Meeden set or W&N sets. Hi @Julie Ford ! I'm definitely going to watch this. If one doesn't have gouache paints at the moment, could acrylic paints be used for this painting? I'm not ready to commit to buying a set of gouache just yet.

Bluebells
This evening we are going to have a go at painting a Bluebell Woodland. I have attached the reference and colours suggested. No line drawing this week.
