Archive anything that doesn't represent you anymore.
Last social task -- and this one is entirely optional but really freeing. Go through your recent posts and archive anything that no longer represents where your business is headed. Old offers you don't sell. Content from a niche you've moved away from. Posts that feel misaligned with who you're serving now. You don't have to delete anything. Archiving keeps it off your profile without losing it permanently. You're not erasing your history. You're just curating what a new visitor sees when they land on your page. A profile that feels cohesive and current does quiet work for you every day. Do as much or as little as feels right. Even archiving two or three things counts. Next section coming up: email marketing. Slightly more involved but still totally manageable, I promise. Did you archive anything? What made the cut to stay and what got tucked away?

Where do I find wheat I’ve archived? I’ve accidentally archived something before!

@Stacey Watts Gmail, well I have a Yahoo account too.
Does your bio still describe what you actually do?
Okay, inbox done. Moving somewhere even easier. Your social profiles. We're not talking about content strategy or posting frequency right now. Just the static stuff -- the bits that sit there and greet people whether you're actively posting or not. Starting with your bio. Go pull up your main profile right now and read your bio like a stranger seeing it for the first time. Ask yourself: - Can someone tell in 5 seconds what I do and who I help? - Does it reflect where my business is right now -- not where it was a year ago? - Is there a clear next step (a link, a CTA, somewhere to go)? If the answer to any of those is 'kind of' -- that's your task for today. Just the bio. Nothing else. It can take 10 minutes. That's it. Here is the checklist for this clean up. What does your bio say right now? Drop it below and let's see if it's doing its job -- we'll give you friendly feedback.

I just changed my Skool bio. Now for the others!
Instagram dropped some updates worth knowing about — here's the quick breakdown:
- Reels just got extended to 20 minutes. Yep, they went from 90 seconds all the way to 20 minutes. Instagram is clearly coming for YouTube's audience, and honestly? That could be good news for us. If you have webinar clips, tutorial recordings, or any long-form content sitting around doing nothing — this is your sign to start putting it to work on Instagram instead of letting it collect digital dust. - You can now edit your Reels thumbnails directly in your grid. This one's small but mighty. Your profile grid is basically your Instagram storefront, and up until now you had way less control over how it looked. Now you can go back to posted Reels and update the thumbnail so your grid actually reflects your brand. Worth spending 20 minutes on. - Creator tools are now available to ALL public accounts. We're talking the insights dashboard, content scheduling, and access to trending audio — no follower minimum required. If you manage client accounts or you're just getting started, that's a pretty big barrier officially removed. Go poke around in your settings and see what's unlocked.

@Stacey Watts I may take you up on your knowledge!
Can we give a warm welcome to some new faces around here?
A few of you just found your way over from @Krista Brea 's community and I am so glad you're here. @Amy Serafin @Lara Knutzen @Suzie Zijlstra @Gale Bates @Janine Penny If you landed here because of her post about repurposing content and doing more with less... you are going to feel right at home. That's exactly what we're all about inside The Content Shift. Not more posting. Not more pressure. Just getting smarter about the content you already have. Krista and I are actually collaborating next month and I'll be sharing some strategies on how to take what you already created and make it work harder for you. So stay close because details are coming soon. But first, drop a hello below! Tell us who you are and what you're working on right now.

Welcome!!!
Spring Cleaning🍀
Okay so I've been doing a little spring cleaning in my business lately and honestly? It's been so satisfying. I'm talking outdated blog posts, old resources that needed a refresh, archiving content that just doesn't fit anymore... and yes, cleaning out emails that go back to 2020. WHAAAATTTT. We don't need to talk about it. 😅 And it got me thinking — do you need to do the same? I'm considering running a Spring Cleaning Challenge inside The Content Shift where we tackle this stuff together. Think: a structured, low-pressure way to finally clear the clutter from your content and your business. Would you be in? Drop a YES or NO below (or tell me what you'd most want to clean up!) 👇

I feel you on the old emails!!! I have several side-hustles that I am trying to make into multiple streams of income. each comes with papers, notes, and sometimes stuff. I need to set my home office up to be a bit more convenient and less cluttered! (without losing my view!)
