@Laura Buhl I always get lucky with parking spots. Even at the supermarket, thereโ€™s always a first-row spot reserved just for me. And no, itโ€™s not the handicapped spot. ๐Ÿš—โœจ

@Diana Frank @Laura Buhl Weโ€™ll decide spontaneously tomorrow where (or if) weโ€™ll park, and how far Iโ€™ll drive. Good night โ€” Iโ€™m looking forward to tomorrow! ๐ŸŒ™

Ready for Munich!
Munich Skool IRL Meetup (+Oktoberfest!)
Iโ€™m so excited to share the plan for our get-together on September 23rd! @Goose Dunlavey , @Evelyn Weiss and I canโ€™t wait to welcome you here in Munich for a mix of learning, connection, and a whole lot of fun at Oktoberfest ๐Ÿป Hereโ€™s the itinerary for the day: ๐Ÿ“ 8:30 AM โ€“ Meet at my office (address will be shared with participants). A casual start where we can all connect. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ 9:00 โ€“ 10:30 AM โ€“ Mini Session with Evelyn & me Weโ€™ll share different case studies on how you can use Skool beyond memberships โ€” real examples you can take inspiration from. ๐Ÿฅจ 10:30 AM โ€“ Quick snack & chat ๐ŸŽก 11:00 AM โ€“ Head to Oktoberfest together We have two tables reserved in the Schottenhammel tent from 12:00โ€“3:30 PM. Afterward, itโ€™s up to us โ€” rides, more exploring, or just continuing the fun! Important details: - ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Spots are limited to 20 people total (both for the office session and the tables). Please make sure you book your ticket ($9 โ€“ symbolic price for commitment) - ๐Ÿ‘— Dress code: Lederhosen, Dirndl, or any fun festive outfit! - ๐ŸŽฏ The goal: meet in real life, share experiences, and have some fun together. We canโ€™t wait to see you there

๐Ÿป Get Ready for Oktoberfest โ€“ Important Info
Hey everyone! Just a quick prep post so you know what to expect and can come fully ready for our Skool IRL Meetup + Oktoberfest ๐ŸŽ‰ ๐Ÿšซ Bags: Big bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the tents. Bring only a small bag (think ~20 cm max) with your essentials. ๐Ÿ’ถ Cash is king: You cannot pay with credit card, debit card, or Apple Pay in the tent. Itโ€™s cash only. There are ATMs in the Schottenhamel tent, but lines can be long and fees high โ€” so I highly recommend bringing enough cash with you. ๐Ÿ— Coupons: As part of our reservation, everyone has a minimum consume: ยฝ chicken + 1 beer (around โ‚ฌ35 per person). - I paid this in advance and have the coupons ready for you at the table. - You can reimburse me via PayPal or Cash whatever is easier (hello@laurabuhl.com). ๐Ÿบ Drinks in the tent: - Beer is served only in 1-liter steins. Keep in mind: Oktoberfest beer is typically stronger than your regular beer. - If youโ€™d like something lighter, order a Radler (beer mixed with lemonade) โ€” a great way to pace yourself. - Non-alcoholic drinks are also available. - Other alcohol (rum, whiskey, cocktails, etc.) is not served in the tents. Occasionally youโ€™ll find wine, but usually itโ€™s beer-focused. Outside the tents, there are cocktail bars for those options. ๐Ÿ’ถ Tipping: Youโ€™ll pay your waitress directly when ordering. Itโ€™s common to round up generously or add around 10%. Many people simply round to the nearest โ‚ฌ5 or โ‚ฌ10 note when paying for drinks. ๐Ÿ‘— Dress code: Dirndl, Lederhosen, or just something fun and festive โ€” totally up to you! ๐Ÿ•’ Timing reminder: - 8:30 AM โ€“ Meet at my office (address will be shared in classroom). - 9:00โ€“10:30 AM โ€“ Short session with Evelyn & me. - 11:00 AM โ€“ Weโ€™ll all head to the tent together. - 12:00โ€“3:30 PM โ€“ Reserved tables in Schottenhamel. ๐ŸŽก After 3:30 PM: Our reserved tables end at 3:30 PM. After that, itโ€™s open-ended: - Some of us may explore Oktoberfest together, hop on rides, or grab food outside. - Others may want to try to find space in another tent or share tables with strangers (thatโ€™s actually very common at Oktoberfest and a fun way to meet new people!). - Just keep in mind: while 3:30 PM is still relatively early, once it gets closer to 5 PM (and people come after work) it can become much harder to get into a tent, as they often close once full.
