The resurrection follows the death of Christ. Too often we want the fruits of labor without the work. We want the resurrection but we avoid the cross. To avoid the cross is to miss the point: God’s sacrifice is an act of Love which Transforms the heart. So we go to the cross. We remain there and we meditate on the love of God.
