There's a reason I say "y'all" all the time... and it's not just because I'm from Georgia. 😄 Think about the difference between these two sentences... "I can help you grow your audience." vs. "Y'all... we can grow each other's audiences." One of those feels like a pitch. The other feels like a playground invitation. Here's what I've learned after building businesses for years... Nobody grows alone. The fastest path to more visibility, more leads, more income... is through other people's audiences. But here's the part most people miss... Y'all is also disarming. When you sound like a real human instead of a marketing machine... people lean in instead of backing away. Defenses drop. Conversations start. Deals get made. And women? We are REALLY good at this when we let ourselves be... We share the parade. We make room at the table. We send the email that says "you need to meet my friend." That's not weakness. That's leverage. Hey Collab Club... I've missed you. 🥂 Life showed up loud these past few weeks and I just had to let it. We lost someone we loved... and if you've ever sat in that kind of quiet you know there's really nothing to do but be present and let people lean on you. And then somehow right in the middle of grief... life just kept going. One kiddo crossed the stage out of elementary school. Another walked out of middle school for the last time. And my second niece turned 18... which means it was time for our Aunt Sunny trip. Just me and her. No agenda. No sharing me with anybody else. It's a tradition I started with my girls and honestly... I think I love it as much as they do. 🥹 And the tiniest member of our crew had her very first graduation. That little arm wrapped around me and Uncle B said everything words couldn't. Maycember is real y'all... nobody warned me it would hit this hard all at once.
