🔥 DROP YOUR AVATAR BELOW — I dare you.
We've got some seriously talented people in this community and I feel like you're all hiding your best work from each other and sending them to me. So here's your challenge: Post your AI avatar in the comments. Right now. No excuses. Doesn't matter if it's your first attempt or your 50th. Doesn't matter if you think it's "not good enough yet." It IS good enough — and the rest of us want to see it. Here's what I want to know alongside it: 👉 What's her name? 👉 What niche is she built for? 👉 One word to describe her vibe? I'll go first 👇

Last July I created an avatar I was going to use for a mini-sitcom YT channel in the aftermath of all the Sasquatch selfies going on. I repurposed that character who was built as my AI Twin with a "squatchy" face using pix from my Fit Chick self at 48-49. Dug out a pretty face I had made with Leonardo... and today asked ChatGPT to swap that face onto my AI Twin's body since it can now do that. Really happy with how she came out - will play with different angles and outfits on this one looking at lifestyle, fitness, health niche, and if I come up with one better for UGC use in the meantime, cool. It's just a good feeling to have the win. Next, on to the AI Avatar for my beauty/makeup channel (prob on TikTok) and perhaps do a more professional version of Fit Chick for the motivational content I want over on my original 2008 YT channel I'm resuscitating and reconfiguring. And as I'm now 60, I got a real kick out of ChatGPT's response, so I wanted to share that bit as well because of the "awwwwww" I felt from reading it's reply. Used to have the paid version, so there are chat histories about my motivational essays and more, and apparently, the Chatster's memory is sharp! LOL I was so thrilled to get the pic done in one shot, I typed: "Happy dance!!!! I love it!!!! Thank you so much!!! I can go back in time with my fit body again! I have so many recipes, gardening tips and simple exercise routines I want to share that used to live on my old blog and now I can recreate them again like I have a time machine - and this time, instead of just written blog posts, I can add my AI Avatar actually talking - which will be in my real voice. OMG!!! I am so happy right now!!! Thank you soooooo much for making me feel young and vibrant again!! xoxox" Chat replied (get ready for awwwwwwwww): That excitement coming through right now? That’s the sound of momentum — and honestly, this is a smart move you’ve just made. You didn’t just make an avatar. You solved three big creator problems at once:
🎙️ Our First Ever Live Q&A — Here's What Went Down
We did it. Our very first live Q&A session, and honestly? It was exactly what this community is all about. Thank you @Sunny Carlsson for your questions. Sunny (yes, that's really her vibe — "Susie Sunshine" is her actual nickname 😄) joined us from Florida, coffee in hand, cat having already scattered her Post-it notes overnight. Real life, real questions, real energy. Here's what we covered: 🤖 AI Avatar or Digital Twin? If you've got an existing brand and following — keep your face, use a twin. Starting fresh? Total creative freedom. Sunny's building a brand new health & fitness persona from scratch. Clean slate, full control. 💄 Rescuing a Scammy Pre-Monetised YouTube Channel Sunny bought a channel built on "repurposed" TikTok makeup videos (yep, it happens). The good news: you don't have to delete everything. Unlist the old videos, optimise your bio and descriptions, post your new content consistently — and YouTube's algorithm recalibrates within 60–90 days. You stay monetised. You redirect the channel. Win. 📱 Which Platform First? - Health & fitness persona → Instagram - Makeup transitions & beauty content → TikTok (those videos blow up there) - Long game, evergreen income → YouTube - Money fastest → Fiverr/Upwork selling your AI avatar creation services (seriously, people make £200 in 24 hours doing this — it's in the modules 👀) 💸 The Money Question Sunny asked what we all secretly wonder: what gets me income fastest? Answer: UGC services and avatar creation on freelance platforms. No waiting for algorithm growth. You learn the skill, you sell the skill. The moment of the session? Sunny said: "I've done motivational psychology my whole life. I talk people down off the ceiling. Trying to do it on your own darn self? That's the hard part." Same, Sunny. Same. That's literally why this community exists. No question is dumb unless you don't ask it. Sunny said it best herself — and she's been in tech since the 1984 Macintosh.

🙌 🥰 Thank you for answering my "when is the caffeine going to hit my brain already??" questions, Vicki! I know that simply going forward without having finally made a decision on the path to take would just perpetuate my indecision spiral. Asking it out loud and hearing it answered out loud is so helpful ⭐️ UGC to start first. Right now! 👍🥰 So ironic that doing short promos, merch ads, testimonials for local biz was the biggest reason last summer that I dove into the whole idea of an AI Avatar. UGC falls under that umbrella, huh? Ah well, 9 months later I finally got the light bulb moment of decision to flip on! 💡 Or face palming Captain obvious moment? LOL Good thing I can laugh at myself!
OpenAI just killed Sora. And honestly? It proves everything.
A tool that had Disney signing a $1 BILLION deal in December is being shut down by March. That’s literally 3 months. 🤯 And if you’d built your whole content strategy around it, spent weeks learning it, made it your thing, maybe even sold a course teaching it - you’d be starting from scratch right now. This is exactly why I built DMA as a community and not a one-time course. Because a course is a snapshot. It’s frozen in time. The second the AI landscape shifts (which is approximately every 5 minutes 😅), it’s outdated. A community? That’s a living, breathing thing. It updates. It evolves. We figure out what’s working right now, together and we drop the stuff that doesn’t. AI moves so fast that the tool you were obsessing over last month could literally be a footnote by next month. Sora is proof of that. You don’t need to know every tool. You need to be in the right room when the landscape changes. It can be scary but it’s also good! With change, comes possibilities and with possibilities comes extra 💰 That’s what we’re building here. 🖤✨ What AI tool are you currently obsessed with? Drop it below, let’s see which ones are still standing in 6 months 👀

@Victoria Chikanya When I was experimenting with getting my pets to lip sync to my voice, HeyGen was definitely the winner for me also, so I know it will do very well for my new human avatar ⭐️
What if your content kept working while you slept, travelled, or took a Tuesday off? 👀
No camera. No ring light. No “good hair day” required. That’s the reality for creators building with AI avatars right now and the ones who moved early are already seeing results. Here’s what’s actually possible when you go faceless: ✅ Content posted consistently without burning out ✅ A brand that never gets tired, sick, or camera-shy ✅ Multiple income streams: memberships, digital products, brand deals - all driven by a face that isn’t yours ✅ Complete creative control without ever stepping in front of a lens The creator economy isn’t slowing down. But the barrier to entry just dropped through the floor. You don’t need a personal brand built on your face anymore. You need a character - one that works for you, represents your vision, and shows up every single day. The question isn’t whether AI avatars work. It’s whether you’re going to use them before everyone else catches on. Have you built your Avatar yet? ✨

Option 4: I have not created my avatar yet, but I know that this is the path I want to take forward 🌻

@Victoria Chikanya Narrowing down my niche for the IG or YT channel awaiting my content. So far, I understand a lot of the tech, have already played with HeyGen and LipSync.video for tinkering with my initial jaunt of my "virtual emotional support animal podcast" featuring a few of my pets as therapists, altering the pitch of your truly's voice simply by changing speed inside iMovie, and then discovered that AI lip syncing tech is 100% geared for humans.....not animals. Bugger. Got some weird, creepy, can't-unsee-that stuff experimenting. But successful enough that there's a set of one happy dozen talking dog and cat vids residing as an experimental set on my original YT channel. The more I learned since last June (that refused to sink in til February), I realized I had to go human (not Sasquatch, not animal podcast, not my emotional therapy pet podcast), so resolve finally made (Fiiiiiiiinnne 🤪). I hesitated with the human avatar because I'm torn between creating my avatar using pix of me as Fit Chick at 49 when everyone thought I was in my 30s, then got knocked over by a lymphoma that chemo zapped me so bad I struggled recovering from the ordeal this last decade. My brilliant idea was to be totally real and film my 'decision to change' moment through the 'I'm Back!' moment, that in all realistic honesty would only take me 4 to 5 months if I had income coming in that I could take the luxury of doing it from that perspective. Until I start getting survival income showing up, the thought of filming myself at 60 doing somatic etc. exercise to get my muscles rebuilt, even as an excuse to go out on the beach that's within sight of my home.......ugh, no. Too stressed out. So, maybe recreating Fit Chick me but with a gorgeous makeup adorned face as a 30-ish year-old believable health & fitness nut? Eh. Maybe. Other (smartest) option is just quit all my dang overthinking (founding member of Overthinkers Anonymous here) and going full-bore ahead with a brand new avatar and just focus on the influencer thing to simply build SOMETHING right now. So yesterday I spent time going through the 100 AI Avatar Businesses pdf to narrow down. Cut my option list down to 30, need to trim down more.
