How would you introduce your business in one sentence?
Clarity is magnetic. If you had to explain exactly what you do to someone who could connect you with your dream client, what would you say?

I build community two ways — by helping nonprofits and small businesses thrive through fundraising and sponsorships (CMG), and by creating wine, spirits, and cultural experiences (5ive Senses) that connect people through all five senses.
What’s one confidence-boosting win you’ve had recently?
It doesn’t have to be huge, but every win matters. Share yours so we can celebrate with you.

One of my biggest confidence-boosting wins recently has been landing my first partnership here in Arizona with a new spirits brand! 🍸 This feels like a turning point for me — for a while I had one foot in AZ and one in Detroit, unsure if what I envisioned when I moved here 4 years ago would really take root. Now I feel both feet planted here, confident that I can grow my business and brand the way I always imagined. Excited for what’s ahead!

@Jena Renee Cervantes Same! Congratulations
What’s one way you’re going to show up louder this week?
Visibility is a decision. What does showing up look like for you right now?

For me, it’s about clear communication and firm boundaries. I have a client in Detroit who originally came to me with three projects—but right now, his focus is only on one. This week, I’m making sure we both have clear expectations on what’s moving forward, what’s on hold, and the roles we each play. As much as I value friendships, in business it’s important to protect the relationship by setting boundaries early and often. Showing up louder for me means making sure my voice is just as clear as my work.

For me, it was hitting “post” in this very community. I’ve been rebranding Conversations Media Group into what’s now CMG, along with launching 5ive Senses and the Fix Yo Face podcast. When I moved to Arizona, I came with no local team, only faith in the relationships I’d built over the years. Recently, I reached back to my Detroit network—and they were not only eager but excited to be part of my expansion here in AZ. That’s exactly what I’d hoped for, but honestly, I wasn’t sure it would happen. This experience reminded me that the boldest moves aren’t always about taking giant leaps—they’re about trusting yourself enough to take any step forward.
